I dont even know how much powder it would take to do a frame. I guess that would be a good question too? I'll do some searching and see if I can find what color I want and get on it. We are going to LS march 20 th and april 10th. Might not have enough time before then to do it.

Definately let me know. Are you gonna do anything to your frame? I still need to do a chromo subframe, I just haven't had time yet. I think I'll do a crazy yellow or green. Don't forget there are candy colors too they look real cool.

If you ride woods and hillclimbs at all I would probably lean towards the mx port as well. Kevin is trying to keep as much torque as possible but let you have a nice gain up top that when dragracing would probably be a bit behind the dune port but wouldn't be annoying climbing hills. You'll gain a bunch and the T5s will work nice with either style of porting.

Its not needed on a bolt on motor. They are needed on motors that need more fuel on the topend than a mainjet can supply. Alcohol bikes for example can't flow enough at high rpms so the powerjet adds fuel up top.

Throw that plug lock away. IMO. To answer the other part of your question lean jetting can absolutely cause detonation. I know guys that run their bikes kinda rich and run 7 degrees all day but on a gas motor jetted perfect 7deg is usually too much to run more than one or two hard passes. if your burn ring on your plug is .080 tall then you are jetted plenty rich to run 4 to 5 degrees. You should probably keep an eye on your water temps I'd bet its detonating once hot.

.012 (12 thousandths) is what I usually set em at. Make sure you gap em. I've seen some that were .004. When your rings (especailly when new) get hot they expand which closes the gap and then they press on the cyl wall and end up pushing into the exh port and hangin a ring and ruining.that new bore job.

Hey TNT ill be there march 19th too. .That's spring brk and I'm sure a busy weekend. My smokin hott wife will be there for snakehunt so I have to be better than usual. The good thing tho is if I get arrested or something she can get me out. Lol as you know the rangers get a little crazy that weekend.

Don't get me wrong it will run a bit better with different pipes like T5s but you'll gain 10 or 20hp by going 4mil with porting and then gain another few hp with pipes later. I'd take the 15 hp for a few hundred now. One thing about the DG pipes is they fall off powerwise after a few hard runs due to heat in the pipe and going bigger on the motor will not help that but should be fine unless you wanna hot lap wide open constantly. On the bright side a 4mil with those pipes can pull a boat.lol

I need what's called the "clutch boss" is that what you have? Its the slotted part the fibers and steels slide onto that has the 6 threaded holes the clutch bolts screw into when assembled. They are $35 new but i haven't ordered 1 yet. Take a pic if you can please.

I think that race would usually be a loss for the banshee if the honda had 14 paddle extremes. It really depends on the setup but yes you are right the single will have a good torque advantage especially being on alcohol. Those would be close unless one of you has some sort of an advantage like override or the honda had more tire. For LS racing I don't think you need a 10 over on an 82hp banshee itd be faster imo with an 8 over and maybe 10 or 11 extremes.

Believe it or not but DG's banshee pipes run pretty good especially with a 200lb or over rider. Don't know what you weigh.If you just did the crank you will gain quite a bit due to the added port timing and CCs by going with more stroke but if you have Jeff do a play port on it you'll gain a bunch more. True sleeper 450 killer with doller general pipes. A friend is doing a 4 mil crank and putting on his old crappy set of DGs just for that reason.
