  1. You can get sparkplugs at nearly any auto parts store. For $8 I think I woulda just got two plugs and jetted my bike and been done with it, You need to start off with fresh plugs anyway not old fouled ones, if it doesn't run rich with the lid on then jet down two and look at your plugs, ride it and your done.
  2. I would not build a 421 cheetah for a trail bike at all. That would be a poor choice IMO for a trail bike its still not gonna be much till revved up quite a bit and will cost at least $2000 just for the topend and crank. Cheetahs also take 250R intakes unlike cubs and stockers.
  3. 2slow has a set of 38mm alky lectrons for $300 on atvdragracers.com if you just wanna buy some.
  4. Exactly what loco said.you can get a dune/play port on stock cyls and they are very fun to ride and fast. A friends 350 like that with a plus 6 swingarm 10 paddles is a blast to ride and usually holds its own dune racing, runs high 4s at the track.
  5. If it ran good at one time with that jetting then you don't really need to tune your carbs. The airscrews only affect how well your bike idles and comes off idle up to 1/4 throttle. You didn't say you ever pulled your plugs and looked at them to see if it was rich or lean. Did you try a new set of plugs? It sounds to me like you have anothe issue possibly, might check pickup gap it should be .018 from the flywheel, try some new NGK plug boots $3 each(very common) , or check out the stator (common also).
  6. I agree with what they said they would be close to the same. Those r decent pipes you have no reason to ditch those.
  7. I hate to go back over this and confuse you but in my opinion for trails and play riding with an occasional dune trip my choice would not be CPI pipes either. Many other pipes make quite a bit more power in the midrange and a good increase up top and they will like porting too. You said mud riding etc so I rpobably wouldn't run CPIs. Something like FMFs or Toomey T5s are killer all around pipes and even run a bit better everywhere over the CPIs except maybe right at 9000- 10,000rpms on a ported motor. Just trying to help make your bike more fun to ride and fast too.
  8. Having a stock bike then definately do not get shearers. It would actually run better with some regular pipes like FMF, Pro circuits etc if its a stock motor and it will be very fast compared to what you have now. Pod filters, jetted, pipes, advanced timing plate, stock head milled and it will outrun most of the 450s except the real heavily modded ones.
  9. I'm not trying to talk you out of the shearers but if you already have a set of aftermarket pipes of any kind then as far as a good next step would be porting. DEFINATELY NOT from a machine shop, or your friends uncle, a guy who used to race cars..... They need to be ported by a two stroke specific builder. Even a play port for a few hundred dollars will wake it up a HUGE amount. A play/dune port and head milling of your stock head from Brandon/Wildcard would be a good step up from what you have.
  10. There's actually 3 models for a banshee there's also the Light model which I have its just a little different and won't fit a stock cover. All of them work great, the undercover one is the most common. I know they will hold about 160HP with all the balls. Its.a great product and Kevin is the most honest guy in our sport.Get it you'll like it.
  11. You ran 110mph with stock carbs and 16/38 gearing????
  12. You are about right on. It depends a bit on whether you are a light rider or heavier. A +6 with 21 or 22 9 or 10 haulers or extremes would be pretty good. If you are over 200 lbs you can use a little less tire like a 9 paddle. Justabanshee has a set of 10 paddle superlites he's sellin.
  13. At the Genoa jamboree this fall we had to trail ride out to the races maybe a mile or two and we played on the way and I burned probably 1/4 of a tank getting out there had a 1/2 to race with and had a 1/4 to get back. Its a big difference in power. What fouledout isn't mentioning is that his Mccoy motor will run fine being very rich althought some will not. If you are goin out of frames and racing or can carry fuel. Do it. Get some domes for alky it'll run a bit better and the carbs setup right. It will be a lot faster.
  14. If justintoxicated doesn't want that one let me know I need one too.
  15. How bout a price just the way they are and I finish em. I'd trade other stuff too if you wanted stock stuff like brakes, lines, mastercyl, lever,Aarms, tierods, etc, steeringstem etc. You can pm me.Thanks
  16. Quick payer good buyer.
  17. I have a set of 19" sandstars and they turn well. The 21" dune runners I had were real heavy.
  18. They are a pretty good tire. They are a bit smaller than a 21" skattrack tho. I wouldn't use em on a bike with any more than a plus 4 swingarm like you would with the skattraks where guys run em on 6 and 8 over arms. Redline has hundreds of them ready to ship and I think he can beat the ebay guys price. 817 I think Justabanshee is selling his 22" 10 paddle triplebuff haulers if you are still wantin some.
  19. I know I have one that I didn't use cuz my override came with one cut different for it. Make me a reasonable offer. I have paypal too
  20. When I had my plus 6 my bike was a blast. I had elkas on mine Loco now has my rear shock. Most bikes with long arms have the rearend real high and that makes em tippy. I like em with a lowering link in back the best but I like my bikes low.
  21. You guys are ruining his post with this shipping and lowballing stuff, if you don't want his stuff don't buy it.
  22. Good cond, runs great, 4 speed with automatic clutch , lots of extras, pipe, filter, suzuki flame graphics and seat kit. asking $1600 obo. (913) 219-5840
  23. You are about right if it were ported, had bigger carbs, on alcohol but siunce it doesn't I'd say 94 to 100 range on gas with out of frames and 35mm carbs.
  24. Anyone interested in it for $1800 let me know its a 2004.
