You want to keep the center of the wheels as close to the ball joints as possible. A 4x1 inset with +2+1 arms is a good setup. Flipping the wheels or using wheel spacers will negatively impact your steering and handling. Here is my bike with +2+1 arms and 2007 450 shocks.

Theres no way you searched the forums and came up with nothing.. I typed in gforce and hit the return button and 179 matches came back.. Anyway, they are a good axle and Alfiestoybox is the cheapest place to get them.

If money isn't a concern, go with the elkas and never look back. However if you are on a budget, the 450 shocks are absolutely the best bang for the buck. Although +2 arms are ideal, my buddy has been ridin the 450 shocks on stock arms for two seasons now.

Dumb question, would a single 35pwk setup use half the fuel of a dual set up 35pwk?

Can you post a picture of them, we might be able to at least tell you which brand they are. Take a tape measure and Measure the top arm, measure from center of ball joint to the a arm bolt. I have +2 arms and they measure about 13 1/2.

Your banshee can be extremely reliable. You will have to replace the worn out stuff and build her up right, but that wont break the bank. You can rebuild your topend for around $300. If you need to replace your crank, you can get a good used one from someone around here for $100 or so. We can help you build your bike and make it reliable. Your not riding a banshee if you stick a 4stroke in it, your actually date raping it.

You will need 14 1/2" for +2 tie rods.

I think the primary changes to the pipes are the smaller stinger tubes, thinner metal used in the pipes and the chrome is not near as good. I have a set of the old schoold ones and they are freakin heavy duty. It would take a big hammer to dent them... The chrome on them is some of the nicest chrome I've ever seen on a banshee pipe. I love the way the power delivers and wouldn't trade them for anything. Plus, no else has them so they stand out a bit more. After having a set, I would pay $$450-$500 for a nice used set givin the chance.

I run cascades and they have held up quite nicely.

If you ride tight trails, then +3s are going to give you a bit of trouble. What offset are your front wheels? To achieve the best handling, go with a 4x1 inset on the front wheels and roll with a set of +3 arms. You will have to replace your brake lines if you go with +3s, whereas you wont have to with the +2s. It will also be more imperative to have your shocks valved for +3s vs +2s. Just some things to consider. Either way you will be making a nice improvement over stock!
