Well your frame looks awesome, you better keep that!
-
Its looking good!

I've had both, Full Flights and Wickeds. The FF's were good arms and stood behind their product. I bent an arm, sent it back and they replaced it. The Wickeds are well built and come with ball joints instead of heims. They are are well built and would recomend either of them. The older Full Flights will require spindle reaming.

I think you should pc your frame that color as well.

wft? Hilarious either way!

Haha, I'm not hanging up the helmet just yet!

Well there ya have it from the man himself!

I'm running yfz calipers and think they are a good investment. The only modification you will have to do is cut the two bolts that mount the calipers to the spindles down about 1/8". Other than that it bolts right up. I'm also running a yfz master with braided lines, so maybe all that together is why it works good?

Does anyone have experience with buffing out scratches on black plastics? I got a set of black full bores that need some scratch removal from gerneral riding.

Sold pending payment. Carbs are going with the motor and I have no idea if it would run against a stock cub. I run a -1 swinger and don't drag race that much. I had a 392 cub two builds ago and this motor would eat that 392 cub alive.

You won't have to ream the spindles if you buy a new set of FFs. The older ones required the spindle reaming. They will work ok with stock shocks, but eventually your going to want better shocks.

ball joints for full flight arms
bbcmudtruck replied to locogato11283's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I'm about sure you'll be able to find some ball joints that will work, however if you don't, I'm pretty sure you can use these. You shouldn't have to ream the spindles with these replacement bolts. http://www.fullfligh...od&productId=34 Also try contacting these guys and see what thread and pitch they use for their ball joints. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WICKED-PRODUCTS-A-ARMS-Banshee_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3caa95b213QQitemZ260559974931QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories -
Hillclimbing is quite a bit more difficult with a -1, I doubt you would want a -2 for that at all. Its doable, but a little more difficult.

I'm still a hater.

Sometimes getting the feel for installing orings takes a few trial and error runs. I have the best luck when I lube the orings up with vaseline. Also, if you over tighten the studs you will pinch the orings and cause them to leak. I tighten my studs using the same tighting sequence as the clymer manual suggests for a stock head. Also I tighten them down in steps, a little bit at a time. For instance tighten them all down till they are snug. Then I go back and snug them up again, you will notice that after you go back and retighten them, they will be a little loose. My guess is that you over tightened the head bolts and pinched the orings. If thats the case you will need new orings. A hardware store or farm store will have the orings you need if you dont have an atv shop near you. As far as the two little orings, do they go on either of the fittings where you attach your hoses to the head at?

Fixed points on the arms wouldn't come close to working on my old frame. If he measured the toe in/out, and caster angle then it should be go to go. Also they are made to bolt to the frame with the heims screwed all the way in. I understand what your saying, but he said he measured them out.

Worn bushings could be the problem, but its most likely the stopper on the frame is bent up. Try beating it back down a little and see if that stops the stem from turning to far.

GORILLA AND THE REDNECK A small zoo in West Virginia obtained a very rare species of gorilla. Within a few weeks the gorilla, a female, became very difficult to handle. Upon examination, the veterinarian determined the problem. The gorilla was in heat. To make matters worse, there was no male gorilla available. Thinking about their problem, the Zoo Keeper thought of Bubba Joe Walton, a redneck part-time worker responsible for cleaning the animal cages. Bubba Joe, like most rednecks, had little sense but possessed ample ability to satisfy a female of any species. The Zoo Keeper thought they might have a solution. Bubba Joe was approached with a proposition. Would he be willing to mate with the gorilla for $500.00? Bubba Joe showed some interest, but said he would have to think the matter over carefully. The following day, he announced that he would accept their offer, but only under five conditions: "First", Bubba Joe said, "I ain't gonna kiss her on the lips." The Keeper quickly agreed to this condition. "Second", he said, "She must wear a 'Dale Earnhardt Forever' T-Shirt." The keeper again readily agreed to this condition. "Third", he said, "you can't never tell no one about this." The keeper again readily agreed to this condition. "Fourth", Bubba Joe said, "I want all the children raised Southern Baptist." Once again it was agreed. And last," Bubba Joe said, "I'll need another week to come up with the $500.00

I would go with Dayquil (non drowsy)

Its looking good! As far as having your shocks built, you will have to send them back to have them built for +2 arms if you decide to change your mind.

Looks like you have a coolant leak. Its leaking into your cases, probably around the water pump.
