  1. Always use the correct thread in style puller!
  2. What he said!
  3. I have JD Performance +2 +1 D arms on my Banshee, and JP Racing D arms on my wifes Banshee. Jp has been out of business for many years, and I'm not sure if JD makes them anymore either. Lonestar makes a replacement for the J arm marketed as a V arm, which they show on their website. Xtreme fabrications also makes a set of +2 +1 D arms very similiar to the JD arms.
  4. I like the "ram air" cleaner out front!
  5. What he said..........
  6. More power is usually what makes the clutch slip. You can try just the stiffer springs first, or if you already ordered the whole clutch just do it all. Pretty simple job.
  7. Rocky Mountain ATV has them for $64.99 each for Wiseco Pro-light piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips. Obviously you will need two of them.
  8. So if you bought the Shee new, how come you don't know what year it is?
  9. You will actually gain some low end power with the timing advance. Great for trails or anything else.
  10. I would just go +4 or +5 degrees, shouldn't have to rejet, just check it to be sure.
  11. Well Wes, it looks like I'll be going over the evening of June 8th, and staying until the 12th. We were going to go over the weekend Troy is going over, but had to change so more of us could make it. Wait till you have to arrange everything in your life around your kids school and sports schedule! Some of my friends and I will be making a guy trip without the wifes and kids sometime after the June trip, so I'll let you know about that one in advance too.
  12. Good to hear your running again. FYI, the coil fires both cylinders each time so even if only one cylinder is running the problem isn't the coil.
  13. I have had that same problem because of a bad spark plug cap. I actually carry a couple of spare caps in the toolbox everywhere we ride. Could be something as simple as this........
  14. I have the JD +2 +1 arms and the workmanship is great, beautiful welds. I did have some problems with the top D arms (mine is a 1988), cracked 3 sets of top arms until he put another brace in them, now I have had the same set for 2 years no problems. I should have just torn the frame down and converted it to a A arm frame before I bought the new arms.
  15. I have several friends with Fatties, seem to be a good all around pipe.
  16. I also take my swingarm pivot bolt almost all the way out, once a year and grease it. Slides out like it should each time I have done this. Five minute job!
  17. I wish! Looks like it will be sometime early in June before I get to go again.............
  18. I found it: Banshee manual d/l
  19. "87 & '88 Banshees had 13/42 gearing and came with taller rear tires.
  20. I bought my Snap-on a few years ago, and it was around $160 then.
  21. Correct jetting will help, and so will advanced timing and increased compression.
  22. Sounds like he was damn lucky!
