  1. Picture doesn't show the color of frame very well, it is powdercoated Silvervein.
  2. I was installing motor back in the frame once and forgot to put the chain over the bottom roller. I went to ride it and the chain kept popping and making all kinds of racket. I think you need to run the bottom roller for sure.
  3. I have wasted my bottom roller before on a ride, I always swap it with the top roller until I can get a new one.
  4. Same here, he always sandblast everything I take him.
  5. My PM box was full! I'm still good to trade if you are.
  6. Mine came from the dealer with B8ES plugs, and has worked great with them for many years.
  7. I've got my stock carb out on a shelf in the garage I'll trade you.
  8. Black with white fenders, +4 wide front and rear.
  9. I have a good 1989 Banshee frame powdercoated Silvervein. I want $275 plus shipping. The place I get my stuff PC'ed here in town does frames for $100 so if you want it a different color I can have it done and then ship.
  10. I got there Saturday about 4 pm and the riding was great! Sunday was even better sand, and I was the fastest on the drags Sunday, at least while I was over there. Why did so many of you leave early?
  11. I'm going back over on the 18th of this month, and staying thru the 22nd.
  12. You guys suck, mine isn't even together yet!
  13. Well it looks like I might make it after all. Started bolting parts on the new frame tonight. Probably going to be Saturday afternoon before I get over though, a little riding Saturday and then maybe a few brews? I think I'll stay Sunday and ride most of the day before I go home. I got Loco and Brad's cell #'s so I can find out where everyone is camped at. Hope to see you guys soon!
  14. I agree, for $35 a timing plate or modifying your stock plate to advance +4 degrees is cheap HP. Why wait when it is a simple bolt on mod?
  15. Take .030" off of the head. It will shift the powerband lower in the RPM range, so basically you will gain lowend because the power will come on sooner.
  16. I think that's what I'm running now. It really depends on many factors, I change my gearing every year or two when I get different tires. My Banshee came with 13/42 so 14/43 is higher than stock for me. I've got a new 15 to try next time I buy a new chain.
  17. I know there are some guys from here up in Alaska, I've sent at least 4 modified lightened Banshee flywheels up there!
  18. It's not an o-ring, it's a seal. Very easy to change too. Take a sheet metal screw and thread into the seal, it will push it out and you can slide a new one over the shift shaft and gently tap it in.
  19. It's not looking good. I hope I can get everything together in time but who knows?
  20. That would be awesome! Get some pics for those of us way too far away............
