I have run both cast and forged, each for multiple seasons. Never had any piston related problems yet. The set in my Banshee right now have been in 4 1/2 years (Wiseco) and it is finally time for a top end job.
I am finally going to put one on mine.
His e-mail is c_rossman@hotmail.com , I am buying a few from him for $20 each with free shipping if you mention you are a Banshee HQ member.
Yea, it is mine. So far it has worked great.
I mostly just dune anymore so maybe someone that has one that rides in rocky terrain could tell you how well they hold up there as well.
I was also thinking about getting some new front shocks and a set of +2 +1 A arms and D arms. I just haven't decided what kind of shocks to get for the front yet, oh well I have most of the winter to think about it.
I didn't realize anyone was having problems with the Durablue locknut. I thought it worked great, haven't had any problems in a year and a half with mine.
I have dual 34mm Keihin PJ's with K&N clamp ons and Outerwears. I ride mostly dunes and they have more top end. With the port job I have at least as much bottom end, if not more than stock.
I think most of us prefer the 800x600 resolution like almost all other web pages/sites. Maybe this poll will shed some light on the subject. I am getting tired of scrolling just to read the posts, and switching to 1024x768 makes the text too small.
I like my clamp ons, but I don't do water with the Banshee anymore.
I remember when I first put them on and rejetted, there was quite a boost in top end pull compared
with the K&N in the vented airbox.
