I bought a RIO Forge wma/mp3 player for $80 and so far it works great for running, mowing, etc. No hard drive in it so there is no chance of it skipping too. But the down side is without a HD it doesn't hold near as much music. It can hold about 15 complete CD's of WMA's though, and I can add a SD card for more capacity.
I guess it just depends on if you want a small, light player, or a player to fit your complete music collection on.
