  1. It looks like the intake port. They put them in for support so the rings stay on the piston when the ports are wide.
  2. Actually the plate will adjust up to +5
  3. Sounds like the problem is the rubber donuts in your stock basket are shot. Make sure the basket you buy comes with a new set of donuts. Aftermarket baskets come with a plate and bolts to attach the whole assembly together. You will have to drill the rivets out, new basket will come with complete instructions.
  4. Congrats on moving up to the Banshee!
  5. You may have to remove the two screws and take a round file to slot the holes the direction you need adjustment. Surely there is a way to adjust that..........
  6. Yea, what he said.
  7. I have had no problems with my Barnett. I haven't tried EBC, but a friend has EBC and the springs wouldn't hold his motor, had to get the Barnett springs. This is on a ported Banshee with CPI's and 35mm carbs.
  8. Definetely post some pics so we can keep an eye out for them.
  9. There should be two philips screws that you loosen, and adjust the distance that the pulse coil is to the flywheel. I always set mine at .030" but the book does says .020"
  10. Yep, just 89 & 90 had the large rear pattern.
  11. I have done this to many Banshee's, why remove the cover just to make an adjustment? I used a boring bar in a vertical mill, but a 2 1/2" holesaw works good too. /
  12. I'm pulling out in the morning, probably get there around noon. Don't know where I'll be camped yet but will try for Cowboy camp. I'll put some duct tape below my flag. So far looks like the weather might not be too good (snow showers?) until closer to next weekend. Oh well, guess we might need to bring the PS2 and some brews.........

  14. Sometimes the rubber gaskets in the carb caps let the moisture in and it freezes almost instantly on the slide from the velocity of the incoming air, not a good thing. I had a friend that had just washed his Banshee and took it down his gravel drive to pick up the mail when he opened it up and it stuck like that, wasn't pretty.
  15. Too funny!
  16. PM Boonman or myself, we both lighten them.
  17. Oh yeah! 1st thing is to have it mounted to the arbor solid, I would never chuck up on the flywheel. Then having the proper tooling and know how to machine it chatter free.
  18. Yea, I have run different sizes of bottom rollers. Pretty much whatever I could find to get me back riding, usually swapping for the top roller.
  19. I ordered a set of Wiseco Pro-lites a couple of weeks ago for the wifes Banshee from Rocky Mountain, $64.99 apiece for piston, rings, and wrist pin.
  20. When are you getting the equipment? The guy that was making my Banshee Worx stickers is too busy doing stock cars to return my calls. Let me know when you get your stuff and you can give me a quote on some.
  21. I bought some 10 paddle Extremes last year, hook up slightly better than the 10 paddle haulers I had before.
  22. UPP site says 34MM on top, and 39MM on bottom. UPP Poly-Pros
  23. Don't bore out to .080" over unless you need to. You won't feel the difference between .020" over, and .080" over, but you will lose several bore sizes that you might need! So if you are on stock bore now, have them order .020" over pistons.
  24. I would say drop a tooth on front, I go out there every couple of years and have 14/42 and pull the steep side in 5th easy with 10 paddle extremes.
  25. Could the bolts holding the springs in have been overtorqued? I think the spec is 7.5 ft. pounds.
