  2. If you are concerned mostly with lower end power dont bother with the v-force. I belive snop recomends carbon tech mid tension reeds and he has spent a lot of time on dynos perfecting a bottom/mid range motor for his bike, the vforce show HP gains on high rpm motors.
  3. For more bottom end, get yourself an adjustable timing plate and set timing to +4. Also add a coolhead with 20-21 cc domes to raise compression. If you are willing to run race gas you could go to an even smaller dome to get more compression

  6. I have prodesign impellars in 2 bikes, no problems yet. Only about a year old on 1 and 1.5 years on the other though. I think as long as you dont get 1 of the modquad units iwth the aluminum shafts you are fine. And yeah, if you can stomach the price, the prodesign cover is nice come maintenance time.

  9. 6th is a lot of gear to pull in the sand for basically stock motor. He could go up a couple of teeth in the rear if he really wanted to pull 6th

  13. If it sticks out 7mm then you have a 4mm stroker + a 5mm long rod. (2mm extra travel up + 5mm extra rod) You are going to need 795 series pistons to compensate for the longer rod. The 795s have the pin moved 5mm closer to the piston crown to compensate for the rod length. There are 2 ways to deal with the extra stroke. The cheap quick way will be to run a 2mm spacer plate below the cylinders. This plus the 795s and you have a running motor. The better way would be to have the cylinders ported to compensate for the stroke and run stroker domes that are recessed 2mm to compensate for the pistons coming out the top of the cylinders the extra 2mm. (either way you need the 795 pistons though)
  14. You can get the csfx silencers to fit drag pipes, look on cascades web site. Do what you want, doesn't affect us in the least, but if you get a ticket, you were warned. I know for damn sure, my silenced shearers will not pass the test, they are way louder than freshly packed T5's.
  15. Dont panic, my guess is that the front end is fine. Since you have a stock swingarm and carrier, it is probably adjusted crooked. With a stock carrier, when you do chain adjustments you need to make sure you adjust each adjuster bolt the same amount or it will cock the carrier on the arm. count the number of threads exposed on each adjusment bolt and see if they are roughly the same. based on that pic, my guess is the right side (throttle side) is adjusted farther out than the the other side. You can confirm by putting a straight edge on the rear sprocket and seeing if it is straight in line with the front sprocket.
  16. Do you have a strong spark? Check the basics first and go from there. If you have good compression, good spark and clean carbs and no air leak it should run. rule those out 1 by 1
  17. Personally i would unplug the CDI, it takes all of a few seconds. May not be necessary, but what if you cook it, you would not be a happy camper

Im all for second chances, but the only thing that will change peoples opinions is as you stated actions not words. So take a chill pill and give it time. If you have a good track record in time people will forgive. You cant go off all half cocked telling people to fuck off because they dont trust you. i have never dealt with you, so i really have no dog in this fight. You can hear me out or ignore me, wont affect me in the least. but just about everybody has either been screwed or knows somebody who has been screwed when dealing over the net. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth and it makes us cautious. If dealing on this site is not worth the trouble, then dont do it, otherwise give it time and make things right and im pretty sure everybody will back down.
  19. As has been stated, if you plan to spen much time in oregon, get the cascade csfx silencers. why deal with the hassle, just make it legal and enjoy your time on the sand

  21. Before you go swapping parts and changing fuels, what kind of compression gauge did you use? If its a cheapy, you might want to get a quality unit and double check your numbers.

  24. Has anybody noticed that the 2 supposedly happy customers are both brand new? The swinger guy has like 9 posts and now the pipe guy has like 2 posts. Something is fishy. Im thinking blznokie might have 3 new accounts You guys can do whatever the hell you want. I would be very cautious dealing with this guy. He has a shitty rep on at least 3 sites i belong to.
  25. RM stator and ricky stator are 2 different companies. I can vouch that ricky stator is a totally shitty company selling cheap chinese bullshit products. I have heard RM stator is no good as well, but no first hand experience.
