I have the stock rear end, the Urethane round slider, located on the swing arm pivot, keeps wearing off. the roller on the frame are fine, is there a bearing supposed to be under the slider?

is there any more earthin points on the frame other than the voltage reg and the tabs on the coil???? i did remove the loom when the frame got powder coated, the only 2 points a cleaned for earth was those.

i put the other stock carbs back on, so its not jetting, e-brake and all tors has been removed, as in all un-pluged, including tors control box, it all run once.

My shee has just gone a bottom end rebui;d, i removed tors prior to rebuild, it ran fine. started it after rebuild, carby was leakin air, from the cap, so i got 2 new ones, started it again, n the cdi died, got a brand new cdi, it only starts, wont rev off idle, slides are moving, fuel is coming thur, but wont rev. Can some one help, it sounds like tors is stuck on, but i dont have it???? i i hold it @ w.o.t. it floods n stall eventually. PLS Help

is there any reason you didnt mount the resivor facing backwards?

I had the same prob, check ur air gap, u can test the stator coil resistance, coil resistance, coil leads, and if all that fails, ur cdi is shagged. the values for testing is in the workshop book

ya its shit house, anyone know or recommend a good cdi other than stock????

i rebuilt my shee, end of last year, and went to run it in and the cdi went, in Australia they wanted $800 for a new one, so i jumped on ebay, n got one from RMSTATOR, big mistake, they sent me one with the wrong plug, after selecting the correct one from a pic as well as sending a pic of mine. i spoke to them over the net, ane guy said, no worries just send it back n well just swap it, coolz when i sent it back, didnt hear from them for a month, when they did get back to me they said it worked fine. i told them that wasn't the problem, it was the wrong plug, again. he said ok we'll send the rite one out. one month later still nothing, spoke again n abused the manager, he said he never recieved it, WTF. finally got the rite cdi after 3months, n guess wot, starts, but wont rev, i've removed the TORS well before the rebuild, atm tryin to get another workin cdi to double check, but so far i've had no luck with RMSTATOR. i did email the fault to them no reply as yet. just a word of warning to other Shee'er
