  1. Hey believe me guys, im not defending him, im just saying, at least you got something. My last shitty internet transaction left me with nothing but a sore ass and a lighter wallet. Time will tell if he wants to go on the straight or narrow. Like i said earlier caveat emptor.
  2. So jeff said you could use the stock stroke cub cylinders and put a 4mil crank in later?? I wouldn't have guessed that. They have such high duration ports as cast i wouldn't have guessed you could do that. Just to stir the pot a little, why not just do both right now?? Go to a 4mil x 68 cub. It will only cost you the cost of the crank. Everything else you need to properly run a 4mil cub you will need for a stock stroke cub. Just do it. 500 dollar difference. My .02
  3. There are adaptors to make it work with any size. I have an old one that i used on my VW's, so i didn't have the correct adaptor. I just went to the local ACE hardware and found one of the rubber fittings that you would use to connect cast iron pipe to pvc that fit snug over the carbs and then reduced down to seal on my synch gauge it works perfect.
  4. I dont agree, im pretty sure nitrotate had candy blue pc'd pipes on his bike. Hit him up in PM and ask him.
  5. nutswinging is ok, nustwinging is not. My local speed shop is full of douches also. so is local yamaha dealer though too.
  6. Could be the seal on the countershaft (behind sprocket) could be one of the shift rail plugs, could be shift shaft seal, but probably not if it is running on to sprocket and flinging around. Clean it up really well and go for a short ride and look to see where it is coming from. Moset likely countershaft based on your descripition
  7. So he refunded you all your money plus 100 bucks. thats pretty cool actually. You were out your money for 7 months, but thats a pretty good interest rate on your refund.
  8. Here you go, there was a thread on here a while back, but here is his auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-3-p...A1%7C240%3A1318
  9. im looking for an 06 dually 6 speed 4x4. Negotiable on color and options but must be 6speed, must be dually, must be 4x4 if anybody sees one let me know. Would prefer 06 specifaclly, or 07 5.9 but would settle for 05 probably.
  10. First tool any new banshee owner should buy IMHO. That and a flywheel puller
  11. "NEED" is such a subjective term. Im pretty sure i need one just about as much as i "needed" a drag bike. This free HQ bike sure is expensive LOL
  12. If that was a proper plug chop, they look really lean to me. i personaly would go up about 4 main sizes and work your way back down if needed. Id rather be 1 step too fat then too lean.
  13. What tranny you going to go with? 4 wheel drive boost launches are fucking cool. At a minimum go with the billet output, cause you know you're gonna race it at least once or twice
  14. If im going to buy it, Im going to go all in and get the support i think. I need to do something, cause the first stator cover i bought is from modquad and the damn flamed part over the sprocket broke out the first weekend i rode with it. 300 bones and it is a piece of shit. Blewbyu, how do they polish up? I know he doesn't offer them polished.
  15. Critical info, How and where you ride will really determine what you want to do. Ive been down the cub all around bike path. Now im going back to stockers on the dune bike and building a drag bike. Hard to have 1 bike do everything great. Just depends on how you want to use it
  16. Here, i fixed it for you, you sharpie marker nustwinger
  17. Damn it, i was late for this party, i needed those intakes and CPI's
  18. I was thinking the same thing hahaha
  19. Once you go to aftermarket suspension, you wont want to ride a banshee without it.
  20. It says it is a paid service and you have to pay to view the history. This guy is a douche hope he gets whats coming to him
  21. Comp cams is a lvalve train/ cam shaft manufacturer. I have run their stuff before it was nice http://www.compcams.com/DefaultWide.asp
  22. Naw brutha i want a sit down bike, plus if i had a stand up bike i couldn't use my oversized bowls cause everybody knows they aint needed on no stand up bike.
  23. And definitely if you are down for spending some money, porting would be a huge gain. Also dont forget about the other things you should think about upgrading. Pancake bearing on clutch, and billet water pump impelar are nice additions. Along with a modified shift star or shift shaft and maybe even an HD clutch (a must if you get it ported IMHO)
  24. You can go either way, but you can only get so much out of milling the stock head before you will need to have it rechambered to keep your squish correct. The aftermarket heads are just nice because you can easily swap domes if you decide you want more or less compression. Plus they look cool, and the prices are fairly reasonable IMHO
  25. Anybody got one of these in their hands yet. What do you think? Thinking about pulling the trigger on one here shortly. Not sure i need it with just a 421 but i think it looks cool as hell and it certainly cant hurt.
