  1. http://forums.atvdragracers.com/index.php?showtopic=4924 listed at 3900, but make him an offer, you never know. Plus sell your motor for probably 1000
  2. who ported it? perhaps the bottom end went to poo becuase of the porting?
  3. Cool, im not disrespecting you or your opinion, just want to let everybody know, there is another side. I hate them
  4. I agree with this. There are bad dealings all the time, you cant make everybody happy all the time. Some vendors seem "untouchable" around here though. If there is a bad dealing guys should make it known. If the vendor truly tries to make it right, the truth will get out and we will call BS on the member. I look at it this way, some vendors have built businesses based on recomendations from HQ members. If we cant later call them out for bad dealings, all we are doing is screwing newer members. Live by the sword, die by the sword. You cant just have all the positive stuff posted. This is a problem with the internet in general. IMHO I see it on every board i belong to.
  5. Damn day late and a dollar short.. If the sale falls through, please PM. I am interested
  6. sorry, i have to reply to this. ASR sucks. they are really nice before the sale and after if everything is working ok. But if you have a problem, they totally blow. I will never buy anything from them and will go out of my way to make sure nobody else does either. I bought from them because when i was new here, a lot of guys were talking them up. Well after i had my problems and voiced them it seemed like everybody came out of the woodwork talking about probs they had had with them. I dont want that to happen to anybody else. FUCK ASR and the hole they crawled out of.
  7. compression is going to be awefully high with 19cc domes. My 421 cub kicks 185 psi with 20cc domes. Do no even think about running less than 110. Also, a single carb and a cub should not even be in the same sentence together let alone the same bike. Most guys run dual 35s or 39s on that motor.
  8. cool, glad you got it worked out.
  9. Make sure you soak the new fibers for a min of 20 min in oil before installing and adjusting.
  10. Earlier bikes yes, i think 87 88 89 maybe, both were 4 on 156, later bikes, front stayed 4 on 156, rear went to 4 on 115mm
  11. No shit being given, but an answer to my above questions would clear everything up. Since you know him, go over there and help him. Tell us the markings on the rods and pistons.
  12. if you do a quick search, you will find directions and pics on how to do it.
  13. If the pistons are sticking up far enough for a ring to pop out, my guess is your bike has a long rod crank in it and you just purchased standard banshee pistons. This would put the piston 5mm out the top of the cylinder. If in fact the bike has a long rod crank you will need 795 series pistons. If you really want us to help diagnose the problem we need more info. You said you bought wiseco pistons. Post up the part numbers off the box or top of piston. Also what markings are there on the rods. If you tell us this we can get you closer to figuring it out.
  14. Got a little info, not the original question, but somebody could help. I have 21/12/8 9 paddle haulers in both standard single buff and Bead to Bead, but not tripple. Only 1/2 pound diff between the 2. So for all intense purposes bead to bead is for looks only. If you want to save weight, need to go tripple buffs. My superlites were still on the bike and didn't feel like pulling them off, but maybe somebody could weigh a set. My guess is several pounds. they sure feel lighter.
  15. ill throw them both on the scale tomorrow if i remember.
  16. Nope, i tried the exact same thing with a stock swinger, and could not get the adjustment to work either. You would need a half link to make it work which is a bad idea. or an old stretched chain. This is the main reason i have converted all my banshees to round house arms. Much more chain adjustment and it doesnt get out of alignment
  17. is that a duneable tranny pablo?
  18. you will burn approximately double the amount of alky, so your duner trips will be very short as far as lectrons on a duner, my buddy runs them on a 10mil stock cylinder duner on 110 octane and they are great. he never touches them
  19. sending money shortly, sorry it took me till this am to get back to you, my home comp melted, can only log on at work. have to do it on the down low so the boss doesn't find out.
  20. didnt get a pm man, hit me up
  21. Just to expand a little, you can get (or at least you used to be able to get) a blaster B1 flange from toomey. This will let you put banshee pipes on the RZ cylinders. For what its worth, Trinity stage4 pipes fit with the above mentioned flanges without denting and run quite well IMHO
  22. I never said they weren't interchangeable i just said they are different. I have them in my bike now.
