  4. Imho, neither of those options, i get out and ride in the open kind of easy. keep circulating air and coolant cool the whole thing down, then park it
  5. Nope, you went backwards. if it was jetted correctly with 150 mains at 4500 feet, you will need to go up on the mains at least 2 sizes. personally i would start with 3. I would put a 160 in there and see how it acts. might want to go to a 48 or 50 pilot also, but start with the mains and see how it runs
  6. Yeah, i had your back, i was referring to the post above mine. bump for you again

  10. Hey tim will you part it? Just kidding , bump for a great seller
  11. True, but in my experience, it is the heims at the spindle that wear the fastest. I dont have a problem with the heims at the pivot point. It is nice ot have them there as that is what gives you your caster adjusment ability
  12. Why does Daj's sexual orientation matter? He seems pretty helpful around here. Im just fuckin with ya.
  13. you charging 125 for a BJ now huh austin? I heard you were a cheap date WTF? Bump for a good dude
  14. I had the same exact problem with some $1200 billet fuel injector tips for my truck, supposed to be indestructible and lifetime guaranteed. Guess what, after the aplication of a little boost and heat i blew a nozzle apart. The answer i got from manufactur was that i ran them with too high of EGT. Funny, the aluminum piston it sits above didnt melt. After some calls and discussions about going public i did finally get some new injectors, but i wont run them again. Guess i could sell them, but thats not the point, if somebody says 100% guaranteed, they should without question fix it if they break, not weazel out of it or even try to.
  15. ASR (american star) is a shitty company, fuck them, dont every buy anything from them. if you get arms with heims, they will require maintenance. I would go ball joints next time. I ride only sand, and 3 trips on my ASR's and the heims do have slop. You need to realize that good quality heims like aurora's would cost almost as much as they sell the whole a-arm set up for. All these companies use chinese shit for heims, thats just the way it is. And even a good heim will wear because there is nothing to keep the grime out.
  16. 2nd sticky thread down my man, they've been harping on it for a long time now
  17. So you are calling koolguyson a liar then? If he backs it 100% how come a new shaft was not issued, or at the very least offered for sale? Please explain.
  18. I remember you talking about that in a thread a while back. Thats some bullshit. Fuck him
  19. First off, bump for you, those are badass The rules around here clearly state put a price on your shit, so its fair to get on him about that. I dont think he intended to make him sound like a scammer, sometimes its hard to convey your thoughts in writing. And everybody needs to be cautious. Lots of screw jobs lately
  20. Heating the cases is a bad idea, you dont want to warp them, so dont put heat on them. Trust me heating the studs works great. I have welded nuts on broken studs, and the heat from welding (which is completely directed on stud) lets them back right out. I have heard of the wax trick also, guys swear by it, but you still need to put some heat to the stud to get the wax to penetrate.
  21. Like i said before, i have the RZ forks and drum in my bike along with the modded star and shift pro arm. I did use the stock spring though because i was worried about it being to easy to shift. I have never had it go into gear on its own or shift itself when jumping or doing a wheelie. Not saying it cant happen, but it hasnt happened to me. Like you said, on a bike it is a bit of a bigger deal.
  22. In my experience, you will more likely screw them up without heat. In my opinion, i would heat the hell out of them (concentrate heat on stud only) get them out and then replace them. Cascade sells them, they aren't that expensive
  23. This can be hard on CDI, dont do it this way, use the black/white wir3e
  24. been wearing mine all week
