  1. NYUK just posted some on ebay in the last couple days. Minkia38 also parts a lot of banshees. I would contact them and see if they have a set.
  2. Bonus? Not sure how many are in a stock setup. I can go count though. I've got 7 fibers and 6 steels in my stock setup.
  3. I think you are right. The second picture posted (this one) appears to have ball joints. Take a closer look. I would take any of those frames though.
  4. I want pics either way lol, that would be a funny one. After all that has gotten the most votes I mean come on!
  5. Must have had too much fun riding. Can't blame ya!
  6. Damn! that is a nice looking swinger. Maybe in a couple months I'll be in the market for a new one.......
  7. I would agree with the others. I just split my cases (first time ever apart) and they look the same. Nothing is gouged out or anything just some discoloration. I don't have a problem running them again.
  8. So do you have any good pics?????
  9. I love the setup on that bike. I wish I could get a hold of one of those frames...........but I probably don't have enough dough for one
  10. I voted for pics.......now where are they!
  11. haha should have just lied from the start
  12. Well I'm leaning back towards the 4 mill and probably 73mm bore. I can save a bunch of money doing that and it might get kind of tight here in the next 4 months and depending on how the oilfield goes out here really tight. After I get my motor apart and stare at it for about a day I'll probably decide. I lost my damned flywheel puller so its been on hold for a few days but should get my new one today and be able to finish splitting the cases in just 20 minutes or so.
  13. Thanks for the link. I must have missed your post over here. Lots of good info there and pretty much set me on the 521 now.......Now I just need to find my flywheel puller so I can spit the cases and ship them off to someone!
  14. Do you have the powervalve motor or a 421 cub? I really want one hell of a torquey beast. And I would like to shake every now and then after I ride it going holy shit what did I just do....lol.
  15. Couple of heat cycles, ride it easy for about 1/2 tank. Then you ride it like you stole it. I prefer to try and break it. Either it breaks right away or lasts. My last motor made it through some rough ass riding, overheating, sucking in water, and other fun shit. The compression only dropped about 5 psi from fresh after 2 years. Not bad I would say. Only got tore apart now to go bigger.
  16. Better get to breaking then! Uhhh....I mean riding!
  17. I'd just like some opinions on this. I'm either building a 421 Cheetah powervalve, or a 521. I want a potent hillclimber where I can climb most anything I want to at half throttle or just having to blurp it to make it up. Course I can still just pin it and go too. I'm leaning towards the 10 mill 73mm bore 521. I have to get the cases trenched and bored and overall will probably cost about $1000 more than the 4 mill would. Do you guys think that the increase in torque and overall power would be worth the extra grand or not? I understand more power is always good and that's what I want but I'm just afraid I'll be disappointed with the 4 mill. I'll be getting rid of a stock stroke cub that was a strong runner but had zilch for bottom end.
  18. I think he took your comment here the wrong way.......
  19. Me too. I got lucky though and didn't seize anything up. Your best bet would be to have the stock air box.

    Funny Funny

    haha that dude is hilarious
  21. still have the lockup cover? if so do you have a better pic of it?
  22. 3 grand for the bike and probably another 3 into it. Gonna get a cheetah here 1st of the year so that'll be another 3 g's with all the nick nacky shit added in.
  23. I figured that is what you meant but it was worth a shot
  24. I'd get beat by that bike any day...........and be proud of it.
