  1. What about a hydro lock, I've seen alleged hydro lock snap a rod. I bought a parts bike that supposedly went swimming and the rod was snapped clean in half. This was fourth party info so I'm not real sure how credible it was
  2. Leave the pilots and back the air screws out to 21/2 turns from seated. Lean the needle out two clips . I've used 32.5 pilots on that set up quite a few times. Again each bike is a Lil different you might find you need a smaller one but I wouldn't go by everyone else . I've also found fattys like a big pilot .
  3. My 06 black se has it
  4. You can usually get em started or all the way in with your finger, I have a Lil brass punch I rounded out for tapping those seals in
  5. How much you want
  6. If spark is good, have you done a pressure test n compression test. If so did it hold air . What compression reading and what fuel. 28s I've seen jetting all over the place . I did a ported bike that liked 145s, and a different one like 170s . Both liked the jjh. I've seen stockers like 150s and 160s with a Lil compression . What it feel like blubbery or hollow
  7. Send me your cell, if I have the rite cdi I'll trade. What color are your plugs
  8. Some modding to housing is needed on case to case basis but with the different cable it's much easier. The stock motion pro cable is a bitch to get WO . At some point motion pro changed there production site if I remember correctly there were certain part numbers that work and the newer ones don't . So usually I call motion pro and they make me 10 at a clip . I know cam does the same , just bigger quantities
  9. Where n who did you get motor from. There's very few reputable people on there. Money would have been better spent fixing what you had . Now you have two non running pieces. Unplug cdi plug and check for continuity between blk n blk/wht you should have none to run, then check blk to red you should have continuity there with key on in order to run . As long as your coil ohms out, stator good, pickup gap good you should have spark
  10. I was seeing if you were close I would have tested it for you
  11. Air leak on that side, possibly crank seal
  12. I didn't think they vibrated too bad, the few I've done the customers didn't care about money so I replaced the bushings in the cases. I also only rode it to tune it and that was it I'm sure riding it every day is a different experience. You can also balance the set up as much as possible. Weighing internals and keeping them close
  13. I wasn't recommending anything either just stating fact from real world testing an experience . Once you get over that 500 cc range 41s are not too big. Will 39s feed it yes but he looks like he's going with the bigger is better build to treat himself so if it was me it would be 41s all the way, then you can never look back and say damn wish I went with the 41s. Either way make sure you ask cam for a throttle cable to open those suckers .
  14. Does anyone know if CW new rods are being used yet . Last Time I inquired with them they were looking somewhere in Taiwan for production.
  15. Crankworks is the best billet out there in my opinion, I've just seen too many twister fail and only seen one CW fail. You could go forged but you said money isn't a concern so go billet for the extra 6 hundo. I would also go LED pipes even if they don't have the highest output, they just look incredibly awesome. If it was mine I would go 41 pwk they will give you more for up top wide open riding . Do the billet bowls that fast has now so you can get to the pilot n main rite through the drain plug.
  16. Crazy that's a 3500 bike all day by me
  17. Dunes desert I would be using k/n pods
  18. We def need to know about the intake side of system
  19. I'm gonna go a lil opposite of nasty 280-290 main is fine . Go to a 30 pilot no doubt and leave the air screw 1 turn out . Put the needle in the leanest position to start . When tuning a bike for the hill you must plug chop it under load on a good hill.
  20. You can just change bearings but like loco stated I like the jja with there axle
  21. I wouldn't double them you would be surprised how much they restrict air flow
  22. Wd-40
  23. Ex-40 makes a new parts degreaser, spray it on liberally than powerwash. After they are clean I like to have them glass beaded and they look brand new . After beading I tap every hole and wash with hot soapy water. It makes the assembly process a breeze. And looks like a real professional job
  24. Go to DMV with bill of sale n death certificate and they should hook you up no problem. Make yourself a fake bill of sale dated two years ago or better. After a certain amount of time has elapsed and it's been in your possession they don't hassle you
