  1. Put the other set up back on and try again
  2. What you have rite there my friend is a time bomb on your hands. What size pistons? Usually under 65 you can get away with 23cc domes, over that go with 24s sometimes 25. Like said above your detonating that motor, hear it or not but it's fighting itself. What's your static compression like
  3. I couldn't hear anything either .
  4. It could be fighting itself up top with the wrong dome configuration. What's your squish at? compression? did you end up doing anything out of the ordinary with motor set up ?
  5. I have zero problems with CPI overrevving. My guess would be porting or domes, timing. Looking at your dyno numbers your missing roughly 10-15 hp with those same durations. Some builders consider those durations to be drag porting. What configuration of domes are you running and what size ?
  6. What did air box set up look like, I would guess your lean now. More air you get a hollow lean pocket . Depending on how the air box set up was I would not ring its neck till you jetted it accordingly
  7. Who did the bore job originally.
  8. Pistons definitely vary our of the box, if I'm not mistaken wsm measures larger than wiseco
  9. If the bore is correct end gaps on rings will be correct within a cpl thou
  10. Pressure test, compression test, if those check out move on to electrical testing. It could be something as simple as you put the carbs back together wrong and mixed up parts between the two or are missing something
  11. I set all my bores up at .0035-.004 . I then tell people to monitor static compression. If it drops more then 7 rering and if it differs side to side 5-7 rering but I don't know many customers that do . After a hone and rings you could be sitting at .005-.0055 and they don't make noise
  12. I'll go with the collapsed skirt
  13. Is the keyway on the pto gear sealed with sealer , it can creap through there slightly. Might wanna try pulling pto gear cleaning everything up to get rid of residual oil then reinstall and put keyway in with sealer and fill the shit outta the hole after install , put all gears washers n nuts together, let dry over night and test again. Could be as easy as that , worth a try before tearing down engine.
  14. I like the liberty gears personally. I've also used redline straight cuts . Make sure you get starter gear with brass bushing or have someone that's good with a press .
  15. They will hold up fine, might try a good auto parts store. The import stuff takes similar sizes
  16. Stator,coil,airleak, harness.
  17. Probably a chafed wire somewhere, you could look at the harness real good, usually not that hard to find most bikes that were touched in the past never had the harness routed correctly and they rub on something
  18. I was very suprised your able to get away with pump fuel on 22cc domes with that timing. My luck it would have burnt down
  19. I just got a new oem coil the other day , $90 with my discount not sure how much if you walked off the street
  20. Wrong section, plenty of info here so either your lazy or illiterate.
  21. If you still have them text me pics
  22. I would like to see pics of the exhaust n transfer work. Regardless there's other issues. Bone stock internals with air box n CPI like 300 ish mains. I would go through all electronics with a fine tooth comb. Also if his mechanic trimmed the domes himself could be an issue there with bandwidth and angle . Where do you live? Have you tested/checked any electrical components?
  23. You might have an electric issue giving you a false rich condition from not burning the fuel correctly. 290 is way lean for that set up or the guy that told you it was ported didn't know what he was looking at . With porting I would have started 340 main 30 pilots toomey needle in the middle
  24. .060 or .090
