  2. They look ok but unless it's a hand coned pipe it's always gonna be chrome for me . Let's face it they flat out look better and the biggest part is when you go to sell them resale is much higher and won't hurt the pocket when upgrading pipes or changing set up

  7. The fact is most banshee owners are cheap. Very rarely do I see a motor that doesn't need everything, all these engines are very old, very worn out, unmaintained, abused everytime you get on it. Cam hit the nail on the head with motor assembly, it takes a long time to do it correctly not just bolting it together. Every motor I build looks brand new when you get it back and it doesn't happen by accident. Case prep n glass bead/ hot tank wash takes me 4 hrs alone . If you actually looked at the hours spent vs the 300 for assembly I would make $10 an hour . I do it because I love it. My prices are a lil bit more than most but you can eat off your motor when I'm done. Unfortunately people see $ not quality of work. I don't envy cam or Jeff at all , I'm in a unique position because it's not how I feed my family and can spend a lil mor time on it than most and can tell people to kick rocks if there being assholes. I'm very good friends with Jeff and talk to cam frequently both build great engines and are worth the wait

  12. If your set on stock cylinders and you have a virgin set go 7 mil , on meth with the rite portwork you can easily see around 115 hp
  13. I use one squirt in each carb of starter fluid or pump gas premix in a spray bottle
  14. I'm a dealer for wsm I can see if I can get them and send em out its 25 min from my house . Did you ever confirm if Pistons are 13* or 11* . If you decide you want a more custom set up find out piston crown angle or part numbers and I can give you numbers to tell David noss

  17. Is it s used crank, excessive crank wobble will cause that seal to wear quick . Do you own any runout guages

  20. Take the clutch push rod and throw out bearing out inspect they can get cltch material in there and make noise I've also seen the rod .005 out of true . There's a spec in book
  21. Are the carb bowls on correct sides , there side specific and will cause wierd starting issues
  22. On a new to you engine with unknown origins Pressure test Compression test Go over electronics These three things will have you chasing your tail jetting. Your set up is very common . With air box lid on 240 main in dead of summer 260 in winter , 30 pilot for sure, needle 4th or 5th clip depending on what she likes. Make sure your motor Is sound before you start riding it. I can't even count how many rebuilds I've done that start out similar to your situation . You have no idea how many bikes blow up on new owners first rides.

  24. Either dasa or monster pipe will works great, I like the FCI intake but anything is better than stock . I would leave stock cams and let me do the mod I've seen bike gain 1hp from cams if that's worth it to im game
