  1. A regular machine shop can mess it up if not used 2 it.The crank needs to be checked for true and runout on the center bearings,then tig welded some use filler rod some dont
  2. easy tiger im not attacking you in anyway,that motor gets hot,what I do is heat gun it after each run.Ride it until it starts acting up and heat gun it see what shes running at.I know after one run my bike is hot.I can feel the loss of power due to heat,is it overheated no but there is power loss that can be what your experiancing.What plugs are you running
  3. That porting is set up for +7 timing,You CAN NOT HOT LAP THAT MOTOR it not meant for that.180 is way fat and it does not sound like a jetting issue.So if you did plug chops lets see them and ill be able to help out on jetting,pilot seems a lil rich.I went up one jet size from ins to oofs.
  4. I dont feel there is anything wrong with it.I have gotten vehicles for money owed to me but couldnt register it due to leans and such,I see nothing wrong with tagging it.Would I steal some shit and tag it no,but why not let someone benifit from something that was useless anyways.

When you drag port a power valve motor be carefull of clearances you can have a piston kiss them,stick with the cylinder with the square port it looks less hacked,the valve changes your ex duration when not wide open.My friend has a drag ported kx 250 motor ,we left the powervalve in the motor with no problems his motor runs hard.how far are you running might need desert gears

In my opinion you should rering that motor every year from a racing stand piont,the only diffrence is more maintnance,seals,rubbers,boots,fuel lines,all take a beating from alky.You need check everything good I have seen motors pop from fuel line rubbers stuck in carb,as far as mechanical there should be no big diffrence,my boy runs meth in everything including scooters,his banshee is 5 years strong on meth

  22. Diffrent fuel will jet diffrent,the average joe wouldnt be able to tell but times and plugs show it

What does the keyway slot look like,just by looks I wouldnt throw it in,it needs to be checked on v-blocks for true,is there pitting on rod bearing,is it still shiny or bronz,have the rod pins moved at all,send it to a proffesional or call NYUK like someone else said hes a reputable sellar on here and a nice guy

If you have access to a leak-down tester it would be a good idea,this can let you know alot without taking anything apart,use the guage and see if there is air seeping out of your carb/exhaust/etc,your intake side is a shim under bucket design and wears oppisite from conventional set-ups,cam chain tensioner is possible but unlikely inless your messimg with or didnt install it properly By the way most 450rs end up 185-195 main,no lid,full ex 50 pilot with some motor work stock needle will tune out if your patient
