    test hills

Where are the hills at? I'm stayin in Cambridge oh and have been itching to go ride. Biggest thing for me is bringing jets to dial in the new carbs
  4. I saw the break that sucks. Too bad there isn't a timing retard button you could hold to get it started. Nice bike tho.
  5. Well I built a strut for the wheeler, I just have to play it by ear tomorrow at work to see of I can sneak out.. Funny thing is our "yard" is in atoka, wonder if my boss will spot me there. I may just run the tires I got on my wheeler I ain't too worried about doing real great just want to try it. I wonder how many banshees will be there? you guys can see mine in my sig, if I can make it feel free to say hi! I'll have my girlfriend there to take videos. I'll have a modest tool set and I'll throw my air compressor in the truck too just in case someone needs air.
  6. Some old vids of A hill near Coleraine mn. It was my buddies go pro, he wrecked and ripped his knee open so we didn't go to any other hills that day. He has a blue 660, I brought him to this one to teach him how to climb. This is when I had my white 465 wompus 36mm carbs and CPIs. Loved that power band and torque! This hill isn't nothin big but on the back side it's very steep and few people have tried it. Wished I could find some videos of some of the big hills we had. Mines have taken them over again, first time since the 80s and we can't ride them anymore.. Really sucks.
  7. I wished I had a set I could offer ya but I was waiting to get a nice set of paddles later on, closer to the snake hunt at little Sahara. I can get race gas up the road if that helps. 101 unleaded or 111 leaded. Just north of ada
  8. Damn that would be awesome guys! Do you have to use a tether? Anything else I should know?
  9. I'll have to take the day off work. Would anyone borrow me some paddles so I can make a few runs? I know nothing about this kind of racing so if I could tag along with someone that would be nice. I only have a +2swing arm and 421 so I don't think I'll do that great but I'd love to go! I'm only 45 min away. What time does it start?
  10. Yeah I took the struts and bolts off and tried twisting and moving the motor it didn't do anything. I thought about stuffing a washer in the rear mount where the rubber washer is but there isn't enough room. I put a fiberglass flag rod on the rear sprocket and it was about 3/8 off the front and the rod was strait I can twist the rod and it is still that gap of 3/8 or a bit more. I saw the Dyno sheet when this quad was built it made 84 hp but I don't think it would tweak anything from that little hp. i Sand trax in Tulsa built this quad for a guy and I brought it there to ask some questions about his setup. I will mention it to them and see what they say about it when I bring it back for the battery conversion kit they are making. Considering how fresh the sprockets are and how much side wear they already have I would like to do something about it
  11. the sprockets are not lined up correctly. no question about it i was hoping others have seen this and maybe had a remedy to fix it...
  12. http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p557/jacaohnson/20130217_130514_zpsf883f965.jpg http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p557/jacaohnson/20130217_130552_zps9f5a9061.jpg the inside front and out side rear have pretty good wear on them.
  13. Thats a good idea tricked, wished i woulda thought of that when i built my raptor 750, stuffed an old cb750 motor in a 660 chassis and i fought with the chain alignment. It turned out good except for the vertical alignment which i couldnt do much about other than a spring loaded chain roller. i should get a nice lazer like your talking it sure would come in handy. i wished there was an easier way to post pics than photobucket. it always says they are too big when i try and drag them to upload strait to the post reply part.
  14. yeah ive rode it many miles since i bought it, i just noticed it when i bought some replacement parts, chain, 41 rear sprocket 16 front, chain slider and rollers. i tore it all apart cleaned the pivot bearings and greased them with marine grease they were perfect shape. since this wheeler was built it was rode very little maybe 20 hours it seems like at most. when the chain is on you dont notice the difference but the front sprocket seems to point strait back and the rear points to the front sprockets but its still what looks like 1/2 inch to the left.
  15. the rear sprocket seems to point towards the front sprocket, but it still seems a bit off. it acts like an illusion the more i look at it, maybe it IS giving me a lazy eye. the one was twitching a bit after staring at it for an hour last night. I would have to guess its the placement of the carrier.. if u look at the chain guide its even to the left of that a 1/4 inch. i guess i could have a machine shop shave what they can off of swinger so the carrier sits right.
