  1. I thought for wheelies on a banshee you dont want to do them in the powerband because it's just "jumpy?" And if that's the case wouldnt a low-mid end power pipe make the powerband come on a lot earlyer? Just wondering.....im no wheelie guy for sure ::
  2. vf3's made a huge difference with my dirtbike. Well worth the money. My shee has them but it came like that so i cant say what kind of difference it made. But it should be the same thing.
  3. they make a fix for it though. It's like around $35 for a new plug or somethign along those lines. But all bikes have there little issues. Just like women!
  4. some of us find other ways to have fun with our 2WD rangers! http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...deoid=758091937 took 5 tries to get both to spin like that, god damn open diff. :: . The water did the trick haha.
  5. Same here but not at the insane price that a new one would cost. Then again....i'd miss my powerband too much. Ah well, it's not like i'd have to sell my shee
  6. Agreed. If they dont know, no one knows. I used to visit that site many many times a day. I was into the whole making my truck bad ass thing but then....i got my first bike. Good by ranger, helloooo YZ :yelrotflmao:
  7. I'd recommend v force 3 reeds. My shee came with them so i cant comment on the affects on a banshee. However, i put them on my dirtbike after i got it. There was a very big difference in power and smoothness of the throttle/power delivery. There was a bit more low end as well.
  8. not sure i this post will work cuz im usin my xboto surf th net heh. I thouht about gettin a 400ex to beat on and stunt with but i will just keep my shee right now. The only problem with my shee i can think of is lack of traction. It's great for sliding the rear en out but it scks for drag racing and learning to wheelie. anywasys i love my shee. sr o the bad typing, my keyboard for my xbox sucks.
  9. BansheeCJ3, i think we have the same tire/wheel combo.
  10. yeah dajogejr, i come here from time to time usualy just to read up on things. Anyways, thanx for taking time out to explain things to me. I will not go with a cub set up now. The only way i can do that is to have two banshees, my current one and another bike with a cub set up in it. Too pricey for me right now. I find my powerband is a lightswitch now, so i cant image something stronger. Flotek on e2s will be doing my port/engine work when the time comes if i like what they say. One of the flotek guys mentioned running my shee till it needs a new top end, then go with the port job and engine work. That's what i will do. I get beat by 450s' all the time in drag and i accpet my bike isnt the fastest. That's not my goal. I just want a faster and more fun bike in general. I plan to get some Elka front sespenion and get them to repack my rear shock. I want to focus on getting my bike set up to ride better and i want to add things like nerf bars and other things that will make it easier and a joy to ride. Both my bikes run great and are fast enough and they are reliable. That's all i really care about. I wanna order some ASV(i think that's the name of it) clutch/brake levers for my bike soon. That's the next thing to order from motorsport.
  11. I know there's a search button, i checked here but nothing on there answered my questions and since my pc is broken at home and i work full time, i cant spend hours and hours searching. Anyways, on with the thread.... I was thinking about putting on a "bolt on" big bore kit like the 4mm cub kits i hear so much about. I looked up prices for them on their website but it says i have to call for prices. I have a few questions before i lay down the money for it. *It must be bolt on, no machine work(i only have basic hand tools). *I need to know the prices on the different cub kits. *What support equipment do i need?(bigger radiator to help cooling/heavy duty clutch/longer swing arm? *pump gas is a must too(if i cant run pump gas i will just start looking into a port job and other things of that nature) *I have t6 pipes and will that hold me back? *will it be reliable like my bike is now? *how much is the cost of up maintaning it(top end rebuilds etc) I dont care to go with a long swing arm cuz i like to pull the front end up like i do now with the stock swinger arm. I wouldnt mind going wider in the rear and front a-arms to help stability. Most impotant, my shee right now is a playbike. It will not be used for anything other than playing around. There will be drag races, putt putting, top speed runs, donuts and all the other stuff i like to do with my shee right now. Basicly what im trying to say is that i dont want a drag only bike or a dune only bike. I'm really worried if the final cost is worth it. If i dont like what i read from here, i will just go with a port job, lightened flywheel and head work.
  12. your best bet would be to record it using a microphone or use the audio from a video. Then use a program to save the audio and a phone program to send it to your phone. I will do this with my RAZR and motorola phone tools as soon as i get some good audio. Right now my ring tone for local riders is stuntin like my daddy cuz it says "yeeooom on the yamaha" haha
  13. i chose to null my vote because i got my banshee with t6 pipes. I never had anything to compare it too. I like the sound and the power hits hard. In a drag race on a field road i spin 1st through 4th easy. Not good for stunting imo. It seems t6 pipes are only top end....but im not sure of that. I'm new to the banshee scene. :woot:
  14. I run the NGK's that come in the yellow box that are about $2.25 a plug. I used to get the NGK's in the red box for about $7 a plug but i heard they dont last. I figure since the cheap yellow box ones work great, no need for anything else.
  15. With a Clymer manual, are those things hard to install? Also, the modded shift shaft and sping is $25. Does that include a brand new already modded shaft and sping or that price is if i send them my shaft? oh yeah....the throw is still rather long too on the shee. Ah well, i guess it's the price you have to pay for having one.
  16. Well, today i was riding my Banshee and it really dawns on me that the tranny doesnt shift as smooth as my yz125. Is there a way to make the banshee transmition shift better? My yz's is like butter and the shee is far from that. My shee isnt broken or anything, but i just wish it shifted better. ::
  17. Im trying to sell it. But no one here wants to buy it. Ah well.... I got a nice MAK 90 too. I had many chances to sell this gun but i know i will regret it one day. It shoots very nice an accurate for an ak varient.
  18. I used to be big time into nitro r/c cars. This is a pic of one with the body off. The engine makes 1.5hp and spins a max of 36,500rpms. Not bad for a tiny engine/car. BTW it's a 1/10th scale. and here's a video http://www.2sly4.us/rc/codys_stuff/around_...25-05%20006.mpg I very seldom take my car out to run anymore. It was an expensive hobby though when i was in high school.
  19. My shee came with one. But since there's no reports of them messing up the engine....it will stay on. Makes a nice conversation sheet. BTW that paper weight thing was funny :yelrotflmao:
  20. My yz has a twist throttle(1/4 twist). It's great. I would like a twist on my banshee but with all the power and lightswitch powerband, i will stick with a thumb. It gives me more "range of motion" than a twist would. With my yz, it's like BAM WOT, shift BAM WOT and so on. Oh wait....i kinda like that. ::
  21. I seen it for the first time yesterday. I was going a modem install(ima cable tech.) and the pc had it. Took a while to figure out where things where but it went by great. It would take a little time for me to get used to.
  22. I been trying to learn to wheelie myself. I been trying to learn on my yz125 though. I've already flipped backwards in 2nd gear. Just got right back up and tried again(minus the broken brake lever haha). The hardest thing for me to do is get the balls to get the front wheel high enough off the ground. It felt like the front was going way off the ground then i got a buddy to video tape my....it turns out i was only like 6" off the ground haha. After that i got him to lift the front end off the ground(with me on the bike) to almost a 12 o'clock position so i can get a feel what the balance point it. I find it helped a lot. Now i can get keep it up for about 3-5 blimps of the throttle. It's not much but i feel i am progressing.
  23. damn man, i would buy the nerf bars if they werent blue. It wont match my shee :: edit: Is it hard to change out the netting on the nerf bars. If it's not hard i want those nerf bars.
