  6. hey,sometimes its the obvious.float bowls on right carbs and all carb parts in there and intact.the brasss washer around main jet and slides in right carbs.im sure since u synchronized them with windows.tors brain box still connected???also,make sure pick up gap is properly adjusted!!!!!!
  7. ok guys,i know how we like to look at home porting lol.what do u think??i didnt touch factory angles inside,i just opened her up a little and cut the center bridge to 4mm.im also close to 5mm from center of screw holes.i blocked down the face with 150 grit to flatten and smooth the swelled rubber for good reed seat.im using tdr epoxy resin carbon fiber single reeds with these.middle pic is what they both look like done,first is the difference from factory as well as the third,though the third wasnt smoothed out yet.be easy on me,i didnt do that much,im trying to stay safe but increased flow.i can get my thumbs in there as the factory i couldnt.think i did an okay job myself lol
  8. if there were no cushion rings prob was aftermarket.just soak the fibers in oil,then install.start with fiber,every other with steel until u end with fiber also.ive never lined up any rings or rotated anything.put em in and go.

  13. glad ur getting her going.i agree with the rust ring,especially if u got it good by working it back and forth.i still think you should pull the jugs,get them honed and re-ring the pistons.the rust could have scarred the rings and they might not seat properly.at absolute least i would pull the head and scuff off the rust ring/check it out in there.
