  1. yeah u put in a 45 PILOT jet not main jet.if its bogging it might need a 48 or 50 pilot.u should only go down one size at a time in jetting.ur prob tad too lean.
  2. check ur float level.maybe they got bent pulling off bowls.might not be filling bowls?if it ran good before u put pipes on and thats the only thing u did its in the carbs obviously.carbs tightened down?any intake leaks???plugged pilot jet????

  4. how are u sure the motor is getting fuel?u might be leaking so much out of the overflow its not getting any fuel.it must be leaking bad.its gotta be ur needle and seats are dirty or u got the floats too high.u shouldnt be leaking fuel.check those.can u get it to fire by putting fuel in the jug by pulling plug out?sure its getting spark?black tube connecting carbs on?i dont know whats up with those inserts ive never heard of them..carbs synched?slides in right carbs??float bowls on right carbs??welcome to the hq ohio bretheren lol.
  5. wondering if it is okay to keep banshee in upright postion for an extended period of time.i would say drain the carbs and gas off other than that anything to look out for or not do it???trying to make room in garage.2 shees take up alot of space lol.
  6. float levels?sounds like its running out of fuel if its pinging before top.good fuel flow?clogged inline filter???tors brain disconnected not just carbs?x2 pick up gap too.

  8. that is fuckin hilarious i like it.that is the truth tho.hey bro easy way to make hp,have ir head cut by hjr for $55 and add a tooth to front sprocket.if ur neck and neck up top,the extra gear will pull u a lil more andthe added compression will help pull that gear so ur not dogging the motor as u might without,try a 15/40.not sure what ur running.gear and tire size??
  9. pretty much means theres an ass for every seat.there is gonna be that kid or just dumb bastard that thinks its a good deal because they dont research and he laughs all the way to the bank.theres alot of shit totally out of whack on prices but then u see it was bought.i agree tho.then on top of wanting $300 for rusty shit hes only wants $40 to ship it lol.
  10. sheerider,i fucking love my dmcs.i had t5s and they pull but those dmcs feel like they just pull and dont stop.like if u stay on the throttle running out gears it steadily keeps pushing u back from the bars.the powerband is much smoother than the t5s also.they come on so smooth,but still throw u in the air.for what i ride i love em.i also like the mounting,sealing and overall quality.i got this set from 2twin350s which started the little ballott to get dmc to make them again.he still had a set left from like 2 years ago and had them new in box on ebay.he works 5 mins from me so it all just worked seamlessly.got em for $380.in person brand spankin.it was part of the original run so the chrome doesnt peel,but it was dull.i polished my dick off with the buffer and they bling now.what he told me was because of that original run,some people didnt like the dullness of the finish they called dmc and bitched.dmc switched their chromer and it was show chrome,but fell off almost instantly.he is a dealer for them and has heard they found another chromer again and it is all good.but then he also said he talked to one of the guys at dmc and they dont go to shows anymore and this and that and said he saw the company possibly going out of business.glad i got mine lol.if uve been thinking about them,i love em on my ported 4 mil.and dude,sound is incredible when ur on the pipe.maybe this weekend ill get a vid of a run thru the gears,it sounds soo cool lol.
  11. if ur wanting speed,which u might have to go higher than that to go 100, like a 17/40 or 38 i would think,and have trail power build like a 485 pv cheetah lol.that would be too much in the woods dude.seriously,build a 421 serval.u could prob rock 16/40 gearing with 22s.i agree with zilla tho,that gearing is killing ur bottom end.how does it perform?i got 15/40 with 22s and its not the easiest in the woods,but if i go lower it wants to eject me lol.my buddies like run a 13.id need a wheelie bar lol.
  12. make sure the engine is at operating temps when testing compression.so yes,wear gloves.for shits and giggles unplug the tors box on the left side frame upbove pipe.
  13. 26mms work fine on stock cyl 4 mil motors.i have stockers and it pulls hard.i had 28 pwks.pain in the ass to keep tuned,it had a little more top but seemed to lack a lil bottom.it depends what ur riding style is.flatslides will give better throttle response,but the bigger u go u lose bottom end.i mean,if u got $2-300 u wanna spend on carbs go ahead.theyll make a difference,but worth the gain,idk.i had 34mm on this bike too and it was a turd in the woods,hence the reason went back to stockers.plus buying tons of jets for different carbs aint cheap.i thought ur question was do i need bigger carbs.u dont NEED them.if u want em buy em.
  14. stock carbs are plenty,u dont need to get 28s.ull still have to jet them too lol.and rebuy all these damn jets at $4 a pc.do not switch to a 9 plug use the 8.its possible it will start with no choke,esp. when its 100 degrees outside.just put bigger jets in there,start with 340 and do a wot run and check plug.

  16. up for sale is a blinging set of t5s.no rust,a tiny tiny little ding on one of the headpipes u can see in the pic but wont see on bike.tiny ding in silencer too u wont see.the left tab has a crack.its still on and i didnt have it welded.i figure whoever buys it can leave it that way or repair it the way they like the best.its not where the tab meets the pipe so it will not and does not leak.the silencer has a tiny chip where it meets headpipe,but rubber collar covers that so u dont even know.pretty much the only thing going against these pipes is the cracked tab,but ive seen a ton of t5s do it.tabs are thick as newspaper lol.very nice tho,very shiny,no rust,they will make ur bike look good.just repacked with fmf red strand type silencer packing..$300 plus the ride.
  17. u dont have to get a proflow adapter.drill 2 1/8 holes at top left and right of white plastic on filter and put screws in it.10 cents compared to a $50 adaptor.just make sure if u do that that its in secured at the bottom before u drill so it will stay in place,like as u would if u were using the lid anyway.u need to up-jet.id go 340 and see where ur at.if its ported,ull be around there..whats ur elevation???
