  1. one set of wires should be to the stator the other is lighting, coil, and tors.
  2. hahahaha :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: I thought he wanted to kow what the roosts where on the side. Everyone knows what that roost is.
  3. like a credit you can use in the casino
  4. 25/280. do a plug chop. I get my jets from jetsrus.com
  5. I have that one, I think its a ya-3502.
  6. arent there pistons with wrist pins closer to the dome for that? or smaller rod end bores?
  7. yea I think the bluing is from improper jetting too. once I leaned mine a little and they began to turn but I fixed it before they blued. They are just alittle brown like 2-3 inches from the port. I dont like the chrome, but I live 3 miles from Ft. Lauderdale beach, so the air is salty here. Im getting a little pitting. Might not be so bad in other places though. A triple chrome would last awhile her though.
  8. you posted this in the wrong general discussion forum :ermm:
  9. put them on staggered 3 n 3. they are prob hd. and std.
  10. Im pretty sure you need the the regulator for the lights. Its a blue wire and a black ground up to the front.
  11. did you try to move it back to the stock setting before you took it off to see if it worked again?
  12. well, your going to have to take the bowl off to change them anyways, take a look. The main is the hex shaped jet in the middle, it will have a number on it that is your main jet size. next to it is the pilot the screws down inside kinda like a tube. on the opposite side of the float needle.
  13. use the correction chart on this page. use what your using now with the correction number on the chart to get close to what you need. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47286
  14. yea, and ALL that great detailed info came from a waiter who "heard" from some yamaha engineers who came in to eat. Just that gives away that its bogus. Maybe some day that design will come out, probley soon, but it wont be a banshee.
  15. now you gotta get a noss head and some porting!
  16. whats your tranny fluid look like. My plates used to stick together and it would slip a bunch till it got warmed up. It ended up partially being due to improper adjustment even though it seemed like it was engaging all the way. After awhile I ended up with gray fluid and needing new discs. It would pull hard down low but just not pull hard mid and up till it was warmed up then after awhile just started loosing it all together.
  17. you should be beating him. I have pretty much all the same and I beat piped 450`s. What tires are you using? Hows your clutch?
  18. If you have a stock motor (not a cub ect) sell it whole w/o carbs and part out the rest. If you have a stroker, cub, billet clutch, cool head, ect youll make more parting it out. sell the front suspension whole, the rear axle assy whole, rear brake assy whole then you dont end up with little crap thatll never sell. You should make at least $2400, but I dont know what you have. I built my whole bike pretty much for free buying and selling banshee parts. If you can get more, save yourself the labor and running around shipping and sell it whole.
  19. yea, theyll make more power, but with more air, you need more fuel, so get some jets to bump it up too.
  20. sounds like a clog to me too. if you have a stock filter, it will let crap through with no problem. especially if you didnt oil it or use an outerware. Get a thin wire like a high e guitar sting or something and poke through ALL your jet holes and spray em out with carb cleaner and blow em out with compressed air.
  21. 16 oz. in 5 gallons or 16oz. per gallon x 5? 16 oz. to 5 gallons is 40:1 I think,... you shouldnt really smoke much at that ratio.
  22. 25 maybe 27.5 pilot, and about 300-320 main. try 320 first. do a plug chop. in colder temps you might need to be a hair richer.
  23. what`r your temps n elevation up there?
  24. Down here closer to me, about 1.5 hours away I go to Bonita Springs to ride. Tons of space and alot of long dirt roads. Thats where I usually go. Its about 3.5 hours away from ocala though. Its not a park, just a big place to ride. Not really many hills or jumps though  I have a place to park right there so the cops wont ticket me for parking there. They dont usually mess with riders out there unless you go into certain areas that are marked off no trespassing anyways. I stay out there all weekend. Its all dried up to, so no giant mud holes that cant be crossed. From like Sept-Jan you cant get out there w/o a 4X4.
  25. Ill have to see if I can make it up there that soon. Thats a 4+hour drive for me. Im waiting for tires STILL for my jeep and some parts for the bike. Im sure it would be worth the drive though. I think you have to have spark arrestors there too. But here is always croom too.
