  1. How much does a set of clamp ons and outerwears run for stock carbs? Just wanted to see what everyones been paying.
  2. Im going to buy a lonestar stem but wanted to hear the pros and cons of the +1 and +2s before i make my decision. I know the length will give more leverage in a roll over causing the stem to bend faster than stock but is the +1 and +2 mainly just for comfort reasons?
  3. I rolled my shee 3 times through a field tonight. 5th gear pinned. I started it up and got it back home. Once I parked it she wouldnt start back up. Changed the plugs and still no dice. Any ideas as to what it could be? I also bent the top of my steering stem where my ignition key mounts into. Is that replaceable by itself? I would take it off and look but im taking it easy for the rest of the night.
  4. Im going to order a new set of t5s and I was curious about their chrome. I heard that the chrome they put on sucks and doesnt last very long? How true is this? Im willing to order them plain and just have my local chrome shop do a nice triple plate. Just curious.
  5. I run pennsoil platinum 10w-30 full synthetic. Im a big fan of full synthetics and this stuff seems to work very well in my shee.
  6. Does anybody have pictures or a good description on how they change their jets? It seems like it would be time consuming cuz theres so much stuff to take apart. Other people dont seem to have problems taking the carbs apart but its time consuming for me...
  7. Dude...I use to make people on 400's look like bitches when I raced them on my cr80. You could have a stock banshee and I would put my money on you. Its no race...end of story.
  8. Im gonna be setting my shee up for drags over this winter. Im planning on a passion full drag port, RDZ pipes, Noss cool head and im interested in a 2 into 1 carb setup. I was checking out the trinity CV 2-1 but I dont know if this is reccomended for drags or not. They advertise it in a 33mm and a 35mm but the list shows a 38mm too. Whats your opinion on this kind of setup and what size do you reccomend? If it makes any difference I plan on doing asphalt drags and will probbably make the switch from pump gas to race gas. I also wanted an opinion on the RDZ pipes and the Trinity racing pipes. Has anyone seen a dyno chart between these two? If so which one pulled higher?
  9. Ok guys...My other pc took a dump on me so I cant get any pics up. I noticed however that the frame is bent. There is barely any clearance between the frame and the tank. My breather tube was stuck cuz the frame was pushed so tight against it. Now that I know this is screwed up...what do I do? Im deffinetly gonna have it reinforced but I dont know wether to heat the frame and bend it back or if there is something better to do.
  10. I came off of a small jump and hit my left front wheel off a log. It threw me over the bars and the quad on its right side. When I lifted it back up to check out the damage I noticed my bars were bent really bad, my key was bent and my plastics were bowing out around the tank. I know my bars are fudged but Im thinking something else is messed up to since the plastics are popped out. I took the screws out and snapped all the plastic back together but when I put the screws in the plastic to my radiator shroud the screws didnt line up with my screw mounts. Does anybody have an idea what might be wrong?
  11. Yo! Im new to this forum as you all can tell. I just recently bought a new 06. Im loving it by the way. Im interested in a stock drag setup. What do you all reccomend I should get and what should I buy first? Thanks
  12. Well, this past saturday I went to the stealership and signed the next two years of my life away. I bought the LE black banshee. They had it running and when they put it in my truck I noticed a small amount of gas leaking out of it. I showed the guy and he took it back so they could look at it. He suspected the floats where sticking. Two hours later im still sitting there and I finally go and ask wtf is going on. The guy said that the carbs were gummed up. He said that the factory puts some type of coating in them or something and it can cause them to malfunction if they put to much in. Now does this sound like a BS story or does it sound legit? They fixed it today and are delivering it to my house tomorrow. But im still curious as to what you guys think about this. I bought it from the largest dealer in the western US and they are a pretty reputable dealer.

  14. From what Ive read and the opinions of other HQers Im gonna say go with the NOSS head.
  15. Ive done business with them and they were very fast and good to deal with. I even gave them the wrong part # once for a clutch perch and when I called them they just had me send it back and they sent the right one. They even paid the shipping for me to return it to them. All in all I think they are still fairly nice people to work with.
