  4. its been done, but Id leave it. If you take them to a machine shop they might be able to help, but doing it yourself, your going to need to match them right, ballance them right and not compromise the integrity of it. Unless your just racing and need to squeeze out all you can,. forgedaboudit.

  7. I think 28mm is the biggest your supposed to go with stockers. doing that and buying new ones have different variables like brand, slide cutout, ect. If you can find bigger slides, thats cheaper, but Id just go and get 30`s and pods if you plan on porting.

  11. when I got my carbs, I bought them used off ebay. they where "stock" mikunis but when I opened them up the were jetted 27.5/270 and bored to 28mm.

That sounds like a good idea. you could put lines of pop rivets in the fenders just for looks and rig up the rear to hold shit, and take off the plastic over the gas can and make a bigger metal one. As far as guns, nah but you could go for a look and cover you exaust and tips with a heat shield with holes in it like the big old automatics have.
  20. did ya notice any metal specs on the plugs? If 165 was to rich and 155 was the lowest you went thats not a big deal. You should have did 1 run and chopped with the 165 in before takin it all apart. Always tune on the rich side first. You need to chop the side. Looking at the top doesnt do you any good. And as far as power loss, I had the same problem, my clutch wasnt adjusted properly till I burned it out.

  23. not alot. keep the filter clean, keep the tranny oiled, n everything lubed. Proper jetting. first get rid of the tors setup, then get pipes n reeds.

  25. nice. I did mine a few months ago and Im finally getting used to the new look. I think it looks better.
