  1. elevation wouldnt make any real difference in if you had to bump it up, unless the obvious you changed it. Prob wont need to, but then again pods do suck a good deal air. Take it for a small rip when you change it and see if its pingie or anything and it sounds n runs alright and doesnt heat up faster than normal, n, do a plug chop. You might actually need to go up a size or 2.
  2. its much easier to take the carbs off. you can make sure your floats are set right at the same time and clean everything out. whatever you are running now, bump it up 8 and that should give you a ball park. Do a plug chop and dial it in from there. example of 8,... 220 to 300,.... 200 to 280. Its always good to start rich than lean.
  3. I have a k&n lid off with tdr carbon reeds and other crap and run 320/25 @ sea level average 80 degrees. T5`s have crap for bottom end anyways. Plug chop till the mains are dialed in, then tune the clips, then the pilot. stock pilots should be fine unless you are in some off elevation or temp. If you have to screw the air screws way in, you need bigger pilots.

  9. yea, alot of people are dicks. I just needed a 14mm or whatever the nuts are and I could have taken one off each tire and made it back, but everyone who went buy thought I was just waving hi with my tire on the seat I guess. I rode it for about a mile before some guy stopped me. I was sitting on the front facing the rear holding the tire looking over my shoulder and trying to ride out lol. Also, are raptor, 450, warrior, rims the same size, offset, and bolt pattern as banshee stock?
  10. Was out riding for awhile and then all the sudden my rear tire passed me up. The ONE time I didnt bring my tool bag and was riding out alone. Lucky for me it was a busy day out in the woods and I got a tow back to my tailer. ALWAYS bring your tools. Now I need a new rim :mad: and cat ride for a few more weeks! SOB!
  11. yep^ I put red locker on my drive sprocket nut, flywheel nut. big clutch nut, and axle nuts. and blue on timng bolts. I use anit seize in aluminum parts to like plugs.
  12. for some reason, the adjustment on my clutch keeps comming loose. No matter how tight I tighten the set screw. would it be a good Idea to thread-lock it? Like every 1.5 hours its not letting go. I can pull it in all the way and still move away :mad: Its not the cable. The cable still moves the arm, but not hitting the plate till 1/2 way in. Annoying!

  14. get a billet basket with steel fingers and Itll be the last one you need. I put mine in gear 4-5 and strap the rear wheels down on the trailer,. and torque to 65 ft/lbs with red threadlocker. Sucker will never come off.
  15. I would tink that a bad crank seal would make it lean on the flywheel side and smoke more than average on the clutch side. maybe a float issue? A leak should make it leaner if your suckin in more air w/0 fuel.
  16. a set of what? I dunno what Im lookin at? I use I twist too which pumps the right arm faster. I think a new front end and fatter grips will do. when I ride a few times a week, I dont get it,.... Im just not used to it. I remember the first ew times I took my bike out when it was first built, like in my sig... I went through an MX track and my god I felt like pop-eye looked lol.

  20. pipes swingarm skid plate lights/kill switch carbs for parts front fender brackets dog bone intakes with x over sold everything else.
  21. I cant type. I just went out riding for the first time since april 1st and my forearms are KILLIN me. I did like 2 short ciruits and I couldnt pull the clutch lever anymore. talk about out of shape. One thing I do know,. Myu new ITP GNCC tires hook the F up! I cant do donuts anymore,. I get to much grip and speed after 1 turn I tip with my body weight all the way inside! Im frikiiin thrilled! :biggrin:

  23. Thats friking great man,. I keep hearing abut all these RS problems and I have all RS, stator, plate, flywheel :mad: Im goin out today and the rest of the week and I will be so fucking pissed if some shit like that happens to me too. Sorry man tough break. ::
