  1. shouldnt be a problem. I think they`re both synthetics. Just empty the tank before you use the new one.
  2. wiseco best bang for the buck
  3. they will work with stock needles, but the dynojet ones have a better taper for those pipes. I found a spare set of needles for $10 on here. Try posting in the wanted section or sometimes people sell those kits on ebay for cheaper.
  4. I added ya too. myspace is awesome :shoothead:
  5. I swear I have the receipt! Actually,. I only paid 400 something because they paid 60 some odd dollars to have the title in my name and mailed to me and whatever. So I didnt have to go and pay for it myself and all that crap.
  6. ask them to chamfer the ports too!
  7. try messin with the air screws on the carbs to fix that bog. Turn both in all the way,. then do a half turn out on both and run it then do 1/4 turns out on both till its riding right. I prefer the twist. Will give you a forearm pump from hell at first,. but youll get used to it.
  8. a hone will just give you enough scratch to breakin new rings unless you have alot of time to spend. If the scrapes are deep,. you might need to bore em. when shops bore,. they dont do a full bore and then hone,. the hone finishes the size, but its a machine doing it faster than a guy with a drill.
  9. it kinda needs a paint job,. but I dont know if Im going to bother yet,. because I dont want to worry about scratchin it up in the woods. I want to paint it an unglossed "pea soup" colored green like some military vehicles have. Rhino might not be a bad idea either.
  10. Yea it came with a hitch but no receiver. I need to get a 6" drop offset anyways for my trailer. Has plugs for standard 4 wire and electric brake trailers.
  11. looks like I need to clean back there anyways.
  12. 87-90 the rear hubs where 156 and so where the front. 91 on the fronts are 4-156 and the rear are 4-115. I used to have a 87 rear that had the same sprocket as newer,. but it doesnt mean the previous owner didnt swap em. As far as I know all the sprockets are the same.
  13. they have those connectors everywhere. When I do mine up,. I use heat shrink around em anyways. At elecctrical supply shops you can get shrink up to 750mcm that will easily fit over oem harness plugs. Any autoparts store worth a crap or home depot even carries those terminals your talking about.
  14. personally I think those are ugly as hell. If I ever got a DS the first thing Id do when I got it home would be to take off those ugly ass fenders. Just my opinion.
  15. great seller. quick shipper and good communication. saved me from getting expensive parts I dont need right now 3 months from a teardown. Thanx dood!
  16. good seller. good communication.
  17. To tell you the truth I really think your screwed! So Ill just send you $1500 and you can crate that thing over to my house. Get yourself a manual. Get rid of all the garbage electric/switches you dont need, get a tors eliminator kit with either twist or thumb your choice, and tune the carbs. Thats all it is. For an extra $100 n parts n tuning you got a 3-4000 dollar machine.
  18. Mine did that once until I synced the carbs.
  19. nice ride. Im not doing much with this yet. Im ordering new tires all around and a matching spare on friday,. then after that a winch. Maybe down the road Ill jack it up a little. I kinda like the squat though,. but a better suspension travel would be good too.
  20. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18534 maybe that`ll help.
  21. another thing to add to not to many people are aware of,. but there where several bomb threats made at that campus previous to this event. something to consider before jumping all over the PD`s decisions on lockdowns.
  22. throw a noss head on it. your mains should be somewhere between 300-320. If your used to riding it the way it is now, you should look into some pods and porting. Jack that sucker up!
  23. where did you get the slider from? Maybe its not the right one or it should fit. If its just barely off, you can just enlarge the hole in the slider a little. You want to have that rear slider on unless you have one of those spring tensioners on it. You have to have enough slack in the chain so its not to tight at full squat,... but if you have it right it can be very loose on a jump at 0 tension and fly off.
