  1. 260 will be on the rich side I think, but thats safer than lean, I would have said 240-250 for the summer. 91 and 32:1 is good.
  2. did you use a tors elim kit? do you know what size pilots it has?
  3. I cut the key side of the harness, so you dont ruin the main side,. and being hardwired on the switch side you can just unplug it, and it wont run.
  4. I have a pair for $400 shipped. I want to get some PT mids..... pm me if you want em.
  5. Eventually Im going to. When its starts to get to wet to ride here,. Ill have some wear on it already,. Im going to send out my cylinders to be ported and while thats goin on,. Im going to re do the whole thing frame/plastic/polish and more. prob new carbs and pods too. Chain, sprockets, brake pads, steel lines, new grips, a bunch of shit.
  6. I didnt see any pictures on the second one.
  7. the guys who ride 4 strokes with (behind)me tell me that castor 927 smells good
  8. 3/4 out is ok, but if you end up a 1/2 or less you might want to invest in a bigger pilot.
  9. I remeber seeing someone with the same one. Ive been wanting to change the color of my bike with the 3 shades of blue but that chain it stopping me cuz it wont match what I want to do lol.
  10. most of the time those $50 jets kits arent right for those pipes and a waste of money considering mains only run about $2.50 a pair. And yea itll run like crap for a little while without em until you get a top end blown.
  11. make sure you get that bike jetted correctly for those pipes. Your bottom end it going to suck more,. but when you hit mid+ your going to be lovin on those pipes. then you can tell people you have powerbands lol :yelrotflmao:
  12. Yesterday In your sig it said you HAD T5s with silencers and poilished coupling now you havent ordered em yet? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...sspagenameZWDVW ask if theyll give you fast shipping with buy it now. I paid $400 for mine with patience.
  13. I use superultramegaduperfastgogolube. Im mx it at 10:1 cuz is superultraduperfastfuknawesome.
  14. a 32.7 pilot? who the f makes that? I woulndt pay more that opening bid for that f`d up BS! reserve not met,. good luck sorry feedback chump! that blonde is nasty warn out loose n leakin too. 2 broke down ass bitches.
  15. yea,. that and probly your clip position too. do one or the other at a time though.
  16. if they hit all the way down,. it wont idle. they have to be raised a little. there is no specific height,. just enough to idle it.
  17. yea, you could do that. you can get an adapter for that too. noss sell em. or like i did, cut most of the top of the lid off and screened it in.
  18. not while the bike is idle-ing. turned off filter(s) off air box off, on the idle screws or if no screws where ever it (slide) is seated with no throttle,. measure to see if they sit the same hight. after that, make sure they lift off at the same time side by side all the way up. Once you fix that, if you still have a bog,. adjust your air screws 1/4 turns in or out. if that doesnt fix it, do a plug chop to make sure your main is right on, then adjust your clip position, then air screws again.
  19. slides will affect off idle response. I sync my carbs as close as I can by eye. I use a feeler to even tem out on idle, then eyeball to make sure they lift together. Larger cuttaways run a carb leaner, and smaller richer. Make sure your cut away is facing the rear of the bike.
  20. they are a good all around woods/trail tire.
  21. do you have access to a leak down tester? could be leak in in the head. reeds will sometimes mess with compression, but not that much.
  22. yea they are awesome. the next best bang for yer buck, get an adjustable timing plate.
  23. you dont need high psi to seat a bead, I did mine with a gas station pump last time. Just liquid handsoap the bead on either side, wrap a ratcheting strap around it till its air tight all the way around and fill it. dont use 40-50psi to seat a bead on a tire that says on the sidewall not to seat with over 7psi m`kay. I did my 33x12.5x15 jeep tires with a tie rod separator, 2 flatheads, and a 1pound hammer too. You can get a bead breaker at napa for like $10.
  24. put some windex on it. nah use some extremely flamable carb cleaner (high ether) and spray it in a light mist around the boots and crank seal on the flywheel side with a decent amount of rev 2500rpms and hold it very steady. That will give it a litte more vacuum power to suck it in. If there is a leak it will start to race harder without further throttle. the general stock setting is 2 turns out pilot, and 3rd clip. Doesnt mean that right on or even close though.
  25. yes^. if your bike hasnt had any mods done to it yet, and you put fmf fatties on there and filter and try to run it to see what it runs like,. Ill tell you,..... very very lean. If you going to leave the stock airbox on which Id recommend for in water and mud, you can still flow it alot better with a pro flow adapter leaving the lid off. A starting point for your jetting would be more helpfull to give with an altitude and temp range.
