i just ordered a set of tusk braided stainless lines from RMATV i paid 69.99 for the fronts in +2 length and 39.99 for the rear in stock length not too bad considering the gaffler ones are like 90.00 for the fronts

yep RMATV does have them...(im in the market for new t5's myself) but the shitty thing is they dont have them in stock and wont have them for 3 to 4 weeks :: ::

has anyone ever put a 12v battery under the seat of a banshee?? i just got a trail tech vapor computer and it needs a 12v power source for the shift lights/temp warning lights and such to work. if anyone has set up a battery under the seat please let me know what kind of battery fits and what mods have to be done to the plastic and if you have pics that would be great. i kinda wanna put it in the lil tool compartment area ... Dan

just to clear things up dave i didnt tell him not to get the t6's because of what ive heard....i just said that the t5's work just as good for less money.... Dan

IMO the t5's are the pipe to buy for stock or mildly ported motors...the t6's cost more and most on here will tell you from experiance the t5's perform better as well. im not too sure on there jet kit as i do all my own jetting. as far as the air filter goes i would run a K&N with a pro flow type set up with the airbox lid off. my bike was stock last year except t5's and +4 on the timing on race gas......and it ran beautiful. my jetting was all stock after the pipes and filter except the main jet, i had 280's in it then and mine was spot on. with the pipes K&N and the jetting you will get a BIG seat of the pants increase. and oh yeah the Toomeys sound kick ass too :thumbsup:

i am thinking of getting them myself.......there the top of the line works shock for the ones with all the adj. youre looking at about 1000.00 to 1100.00 as far as the best place to get them deal directly with works

well the limit for silver lake is 98db.....i know my t5's were over that prolly shold think about a hush kit.....

i got my kit yesterday from alloy boltz...and no problems with the nylon in the lock nuts either awesome kit in my book everything has fit like a glove so far

well its that time i finally got her all torn down and got the motor off to the builder ordered 800.00 in parts 2 days ago including trail tech lights,chain roller and slider from jeff at f.a.s.t. (thanks again jeff)all new braided steel brake lines front and rear,new tusk wave rear rotor,and several blue billet accessories from RMATV,also got the vapor computer from trail tech,and the alloy boltz full stainless bolt kit,got the tribal flame gfx/seat cover from alba,and last but not least got all the paint work done! :thumbsup: heres a couple pics of the progress to this point ...cant do much else till the new parts start showing up. the next order i make will be the big one(oh this is gonna hurt)...new chrome t5's,new shocks on the front (either the black widow or pro g series havent decided yet) and my stock rear re-done by works as well,also new wheels and tires,handlebars,all new OEM blue plastic (shaved fronts of course :thumbsup:) plus lots of Bling.....well enough rambling heres the pics... Heres the frame and stock swinger after paint and clear coat there will be more pics as this build progresses.....let me know what ya think Dan
