heres a good one for ya........ i crashed my shee this last summer at a tt race here in MI......needless to say the bike took a good tumble......horse shoed the left side on the stock axle.....this is on friday night.... so after 2 days off work from the concussion i had...monday i called rocky mountian and got the g-force ordered.....was sceduled for thursday delivery.....didnt get the axle from ups untill after 7 pm and had a flat track race at the same track the next day......fought with the bent axle for hours before we got it out.....finally got it out and the new one in ....by this time it was 7am fri morning and had to be at the track at 4 pm .......and like you my g/f says im obsessed.....lol had to tell this story just to show you arent the only one..... :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer:

well if its a lil blurby comming up on the pipe as you say it sounds rich in the mid range to me..... i would try moving the needdle clip down one notch and then do plug checks..... i run 12.00 a piece irridiums in my shee so the plug chop is outta the question for me in my opinion you can read the plugs just fine without doin a "chop" on them

do the pipes first....they are the biggest bolt on hp gain u will find i love my t5's......they sound as good as they perform.... forget the boysens and go v-force.......i have rode many banshees with the v-force setup and the throttle response is awesome. i have boysens in mine now because thats what it came with when i got it but rest assured it will have v-3's for next season.....just my .02 :beer:

i had the same problem but on the right side.....pulled carb off and it had a grain of sand in the main jet........

i got my 01` with all the mods in my sig for 3,000.00 but im in central michigan too.....and banshees are pretty much a dime a dozen......but for your part of the country it soulds like a good deal to me

i know what ya me about it sucks looking at a rolling chasis in the garage....im in that same boat myself right now........doing .040 bore,.030 milled head,and a good clean up port job...... wish i wouldnt have had to pull it down just yet but thats what happens when stupid ass e-clips break in the tranny......lol

pull regular rubber valve stems in backwards(butt out) then drill a new valve stem hole in the barrel(the flat part) of the wheel...... did it on my 03 blaster and it worked awesome..... alot cheaper then 18.50 for flust mounts

how much for the stock motor?

they can be bought new from yamaha for 550.00 ish thats crazy......lol

yep hartford does suck....went one time ....never again i96 speedway in lake odessa michigan is running 1/4 mile flat track as part of there every friday night show........4 and 5 wide racing.....it was a blast

and also a must for flat tracking.........wish i woulda had one this year might of got a couple more features....... ::

hey man drop me a pm i have a yamaha service manual for the pc in adobe (.pdf file) i can email it to ya or send through yahoo or msn also if anyone else needs it pm me or email me [email protected] this thing made a huge difference when i did my rebuild of the lower end..... kinda nice too cause you can print the pages u need and take them to the garage and not worry about them getting grease or oil on em if they get too fugged up just print them again.....you dont have that with a clymers......you grease it up its fugged......lol

ok i got the cases back together after my tear down.....the only thing im worried about is the cases leaking since this is my first time splitting cases....i used yamabond for the sealant.....and i think i put enough on....but im still a lil leary about it.....i would have to be real pissed off if i get it all back together and in the frame and have a case leak.....i guess the main question i have is can a leak down test be performed on the motor with no cylinders on it or does it have to be complete.. just trying to cover my ass.... and the other question is are most reputable builders capable of doing the test........i live 20 min from RDZ racing and 10 mins from A&S racing.......anyone have anything to say about these builders........ man i can sure say one thing.....im used to building blaster motors......and we sure aint dealin with no fukin blaster here......lmao
