  1. I've never seen dust boots on a-arms before, do you mean shocks? Welcome! Free Bump  Maybe you mean ball joints? IDK you could replace them, either.
  2. If you have an extra CDI, or a buddy with a banshee, try swapping them out somewhere down the line..
  3. Welcome  Once you find out where you are compression-wise, you can buy different chambers to swap out in that head. This will allow you to lower your compression, if needed, to run pump gas.
  4. I'm thinking that would be the result of the video we've all seen with "the bottle rocket launch out of the ol' sphincter!"
  5. C'mon, you know you wanted a sliding window anyway...lol Sucks though, sometimes when it rains, it pours!
  6. Leave it alone, just put that one in your sig!
  7. Sounds like your tester is fucked, or you need a top-end. It's nice to have a base-line when you get a fresh top-end, take a comp. reading with a known good comp tester. You should REALLY have your crank trued and welded if your going to satisfy your compression fetish!
  8. That's what I'm talkin bout!
  9. IDK what the engine alone weighs, but if you can stay under 70#(maybe it's 80#?) there is a huge difference in cost. I crated mine and it was 116#, cost me 150 to ship from MI to KS, one way It cost less to ship back($100) because builders usually ship frequently and do regular business with UPS and FEDEX. If I do it again I'm gonna try a rubbermaid tub, expanding foam, and garbage bag the engine for a custom crate.

  11. That's a lot of bike for the price, someone will be getting a hell of a deal. If they don't mind going to BFE to get it, j/k.
  12. IMO they are too big, but I could be wrong. Call HJR and see what he says!
  13. It's what makes your banshee a "4-stroke killa" lol Lifted, what the fuck are you doing putting MY GIRL in YOUR avatar? :verymad:

Thanks for the Desktop background, Daj! WINGS IN 5, LET'S GO RED WINGS
  15. I thought what he was asking was if a coolhead was beneficial if you were not going to change compression.
  16. One would think there would be better cooling, but many gurus on here say otherwise. So if you were not looking to change compression, your money would be better spent elsewhere.....
  17. correct me if I'm wrong but if the ignition is off I don't think it is an issue.
  18. Those will richen the midrange even more..... keep trying!
  19. Guess you have to see it to believe it... hose is mashed directly where it comes out of the pump cover, there is no flexibility in the affected area
  20. My SST's do that in the same spot. Not much you can do at this location. I have not melted through the hose after about 20 hrs of operation. I tried the heat tape route, it ended up falling of after a short period. Just shitty FMF pipes if you ask me  The other side hits the Coolhead and buzzes constantly, anyone want a set of pipes? :yelrotflmao:
  21. 6psi for 6 min is the recommended test. For compression, take out both plugs, turn ignition and gas off, hold the throttle wide open and kick until the gauge quits climbing.
  22. Timing plate and coolhead with domes that will allow you to run your choice of fuel.
  23. Pics of parents?? Pics of the little bastards!
