  1. I've removed the stude b4 with some good vise grips. Any local stealership should have the studs or any builder that carrys a lot of banshee parts.
  2. Very nice  . I am gonna PC my bike this summer. Can't decide what color to go with :: . Got to get the pics up when done.
  3. I own a side biz of embroidery. Send me a blank flag and I'll embroider it. I can even make some shirts or hats for your sompany. PM if interested.
  4. I also went from Toomeys to Shearers with K&N pods. Jim at Passion said I didn't have to go up on the mains with the Shearers but definately had to go larger on mains with pods. I am running stock filters. Probably go up a couple of mains and do a plug chop.
  5. The 2 K&N filters are normal. That is what I have, they are also known as pod filters. I reccomend to run outerwears if you don't already have them. These filters are not too good for riding in wet environments. Bigger carbs can always help, but it is good to know what kind of porting was done or who did it. I am running stock carbs with ported cylinders. I use to have T5's also but went to a different type of pipe. If you just got the bike I would advice for you to go through the bike. Clean carbs(check jets so you can know what you have), oil change, clean air filters, lube your cables. By checking your main jets can also give you some what of an idea if it was ported or not. Check your compression to see if you should be running hi-octane or 50/50 mix.
  6. Got a friend looking for one. What are you asking?
  7. You might have some better luck here. http://www.factory7atv.com/PBhome.htm
  8. T5's are a good all around pipe. I was happy with them. But biggest abng for your buck is going to be the porting. Talk to some builders here and see what they have to say.
  9. 180 is way too small. I use to run 280 with T5's and a Toomey 2n1 foam filter. If you're getting rid of the air box I would say K&N pods are the way to go. Then probably a 300 would be a good start to do a plug chop.
  10. I think jet kits are a waste of money. I think you can get them individually for like $2-4 depending where you are located.
  11. There will be a huge difference in perofrmance getting of the airbox. It will breathe much more better. You can notice a difference with the lid off. With the whole airbox gone is the way to go. Shearers will be happier with some K&N pods.
  12. CFM was selling some on here for a decent price. Locogato builds custom heavy duty ones. Contat them and see what they have to offer.
  13. Congrats! My wife is due in the middle of April. It's gonna be a boy.
  14. My seat only has the 2 rear bumpers. Does he have these bumpers on his website? I'll try calling him next week.
  15. Hey Firehead, are you starting to get some thoughts in your mind about a goose . They only do that shit in cornville LMAO. Will try the tapping of the frame
  16. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix my seat so it isn't to loose. It moves a lot. Just want to hear if anyone has any quick fixes. It seems like the plastic is warn underneath.
  17. You don't shave cool heads. You change the domes to increase or decrease compression. I think you should talk to Jeff himself on what he reccomends. A lot of people here like the Noss head. You don't have to change the studs out. Jeff sales the FAST heads made by Noss.
  18. Off the topic, does anyone know how I can measure the head to know how much was shaved off? My compression isn't that high and would like to bump it up.
  19. K&N pods definately for performance
  20. I agree about the pilots. Check to see that you didn't accidently swap the float bowls. Is the choke tube in place that connects both carbs together. TYhe tube is abouth 3-4" long.
  21. I agree with Dave on this one. I don't have a drag port, but I did notice a huge difference when I went to Shearers. The +7 swinger I could see being a prob for traction on dirt. Too long. If you want to improve in the dragging, a higher reving pipe is what you need. Traction is also gonna play a factor here. I am running stock carbs, and Dave has told me a few times to get some bigger ones also. I'm gonna ask him to let me borrow some cash to buy some LOL :yelrotflmao:
  22. You can make a little bong out of it.
  23. I thought stockers didn't ahve any packing. What if there is plenty of oil in the pipes, just a suggestion to take them out and hae them cleaned with a degreaser. But stills seems too excessive. What is your jetting set at?
  24. On what day you heading up there? I'll try to make it. I thought El Mirage was around 3,000 ft elevation. The lake bed does have some soft shit on it. Some areas of the bed are softer than others.
  25. Hey bansh=man, last time I checked it was about 5 months ago. I meant to say a little iunder $6/gal. That price is for VP fuel. You bring your own container, if you want the fancy can than has the VP lables it's like around $7/gal.
