  1. 90 is pretty low. Depends on you elevation. You should be looking at aroung 125PSI at sea level.
  2. In CA, the Hi-way Patrol says the frame needs a VIN, if it is a custom built frame then they would like a reciept from the manufacturer. Bringing along any reciepts from purchased items would be a bonus. When it is built it goes into inspection. I'm not sure if it has to be running, maybe just a frame with an engine.
  3. Since you bought it used, I would strongly suggest to take apart the carbs and clean them, and if the TORS aren't removed, it wouldn't be a bad idea to knock that out. When I bought mine the guy said I just did everything to it. BullShit :shoothead: . Carbs were all full of dirt. Can't think of anything else right now. They pretty much got it covered.
  4. Just a thought, shipping for my cylinders was like $10. Had mine shipped to Passion :yelrotflmao:
  5. Want some pod filters for some stockers if anyone gots them. :baseball_original:
  6. Also interested in the k&n filter if okbeast doesn't want them. Pics and price would be cool.
  7. I know what you mean csrmel, I just want to open my garage door and work on my shit. Not have people staring at you or asking Can I ride it? What kind of shit is that? :shoothead:
  8. I'm all in :baseball_w00t:
  9. Simplegreen is pretty cheap, and with a brush works good.
  10. Mother's works wonders
  11. 200W Stator, How much?
  12. My cylinders are being shipped today to get ported (Passion). If I get them back in time, I'll definately try to make.
  13. I've got the same set-up(T5's). 32:1 works great, no problems.
  14. I second that, $25 for a book that tells you almost everything.
  15. Well, I am fairly new to the hqmyself. It is probably the best web page for a shee on mods and advice. I shave found o much info on here by using the search option. So many ways to go. Got to do some research if your want to do a project.
  16. Same here, my PIAA's are only setup for the hi-beam, the lo-beam is disabled. I agree with Yamashee1, it looks good and works good.
  17. yeah, I think you didn't feel the declick. Try it any bolt that is similiar, maybe like take one off of the frame and try that torque setting just so you can get a feel for it. I'm telling you, on my wrench it is barely anything.
  18. THe clutch!! Not very hard to install it took me more time to get off all what's around the cover than changing the plates... all was okay but when I tryed to torque the first spring bolt.... THe first bolt... Broken! in the hole... my torq wrench was set to the specs.... why the hell did it happen? is it because de threads are oiled? somone have any idea? so now I'll have to take it off all and change the part who cost 50 cnd and do it again and maybe break a new bolt again? lol thank you to read that long post :baseball_original: feel free to answer! When I did the torqing on my springs the first time, I kept tightening the spring really hard. My torque wrench would never click, the torque spec is so little that I was not feeling or hearing it click. It has to be done very soft. It only takes a little to break a bolt with a big wrench. Also, did you tighten all the springs in evenly? Hopefully you won't break anymore, Good luck!
  19. I don't know how strong you want your lighting, but I have the PIAA headlights from stator and they are a lot better than the stock ones. I have the stock stator, they are weak at low rpms. Thinking about going with the bigger wattage stator. PIAA lights
  20. See if this helps. :shoothead: TORS.
  21. I had a similiar problem with the shift lever getting stuck, sometimes only in 2nd & 3rd. I replaced the shift lever return spring and problema corrected. It ran about $4 bucks. You're gonna have to remove the clutches to get to it though.
  22. Could not find anything on porting the cages. I have the stock cages on my bike and I also have a set of FMF cages, I think that is what they are from seeing pics in the 4 sale forum. These were given to me from a buddy, he replaced his with VF3's and bought the bike with them on. Would I be better off porting the FMF or the Stocks? Is porting the cages just removing the middle support from each side? Here is the pic of the FMF's atleast that is what I think. If anyone can correct that, feel free. I am thinking of replacing them with Boyesen or TDR Reeds. Thanks in advance
  23. How much for each of the heads? Do you know how much the stock head is milled off, or mainly interested if I can still run pump gas on it?
