Check these hangers out. I know you need the rear ones, but I made mine out of stainless steel for the front. You could make them to whatever size you need them. I made some for the Shearers and I don't need any spacers or shims. Looks nice! Just have to replace the bolts with stainless ones, that is what I had in stock.

Where are you located at? My buddy is looking for one. I'll let him know.

What do you guys think of these hangers I made for my new Shearers. Made them out of stainless and they don't need a stack of washers to offset the left pipe. There are no pipes between the frame or the pipe. I just threw these bolts but I will replace them with stainless also. With the stockers my pipes vibrated, the Shearers don't move for shit. Check them out. By the way, these Shearers :woot: are a world of difference.

That is pretty cheap for some reeds, sounds too cheap. I have someone local that put some VF3' a couple of months ago and hasn't really used his bike. He wants $180 and I offered him $160. Waiting for him to reply. My head was milled but did not have much cut off at all, compression is at 110 at 3,000 ft elevation. I think like 15 thousandths was cut off. Then I'm think about upping the comp to like 160.

I thought an agressive dune port would perform well with the Shearers.

What do you guys think my next mod should be? My current mods are in sig. I got about $250 to spend. I know I need the carbs but don't have enough for them. I was thinking a Noss head or VF3's.

I don't know where at in northern cali are you, but i got mine at AZ-TEX trailer. Way cheaper than Carson. I got a 14ft with Dual axles and the ramp in the rear for $1400 out the door. It is $200 cheaper without the ramp, and another $200 less for a single axle. They are located in Fontana. 909-428-9544

Got my Shearers in. I seen that my stock exhaust pipe hangers look like they are falling apart in the rubber. Do I need some kind of flexing in them. I am making them out of 1/8" stainless steel plates, very sturdy. I am going to do the offsets for the shearers if they don't line up, so I don't end up with a stack of washers.. I seen the aftermarket hangers and they look like they don't have any rubber built into them. Do you guys think I'll be OK with stainless steel.

Yeah you can get them from RMATV but not at this moment. They have been out of stock for over a month on the chrome T5's. Who knows when they will have them in? Over a monthe ago they said 2 weeks.

As far as much cashola into a 4poke, it is a difference in the long run. Like sredish said he can keep up with me, for now. Maybe true, he probably paid 8 or 9 grand for his bike including his mods. I am under half of that. A few more mods for me will be a few hundred $$, for him to keep up it will cost him a lot more. Later down the road with a cub I still will be under the cost of his bike from the stealership.

I was thinking 33's, but if I can run 35's that's what I might lean towards next. Then I also need a longer swinger, then the compression needs to go higher, then a bigger crank, then the cub. :: It never ends. Oh well!

Why is it important to replace in a match set? I have a new 15T for the front, what would have to be matched with the rear?

I did get them from Passion. They shipped yesterday. He did my dune porting. I'm hoping the chrome looks good. So what do you guys think about jets? What size on the mains. Should I leave them or am I going to have to go up on them. If so, how many sizes?

Damn that's huge! I guess I'm going to shim it with washers and then make something nice when I see what ti emasures.

I will be going from T5's to Shearers. What would you guys reccommend on the mains? I am running 320-330 mains depends on weather, 32.5 pilots. Mods are in sig. I am running stock carbs, I know I need bigger carbs but one step at a time. When funds permit. I know people have problems installing Shearers, what other hardware is added to install them properly?
