  4. if you were looking for a drag swinger SLC Customs has some pretty good prices. I got a +12 Ladder Bar chromed. The first one had some fitament issues, got ahold of Lance (owner) and he made me a new one, AFTER I got it and gave him the thumbsup that it was good he had me send back the other on his dime. Can say there are alot of places that are going to send you another 700 dollar swinger without getting the first one back and making you cover the shipping. Another great place to look is Sandtoyz Unlimited. Jon is an awsome dude! he can get you pretty much any part you want and 95% of the time his prices will be the lowest around.

  8. not true, there are tons of places that will do it, they normally charge more though, and alot of them will only do them at the end of the month or quarter depending on how often thier state requires the tanks to be cleaned.
  9. I never really got a warm and fuzzy talking to Roger. He seems kind of full of shit. And his stories never have the same dates or endings. One time he will tell you he was the first person to ever use a 40mm aluminum axle, the next its he was the first to use something else. I called once regarding his drag axle and the website says 100% warranty, I talked to roger and he told me there is no warranty. He told me they have two different chromes offered, and then I talked to I think his name was Danny not 100% and he told me they only have one chrome. Their stories never jive, but they do make good products. I have their a arms with drag spindles, I can tell you they look great from chrome to welds. I just hope I never have issues that I got to get resolved because I can already foresee that going nowhere really fast!

  11. most autobody places i have seen dont do powder coating, it takes up too much space to have a paint booth and a oven. google powder coating in your area and see if you can find anything. hell what part of pa u in? there might be some guys that happen to know of a place off the top of thier head that isnt far from you on here

  15. if your pistons look the same as your first lockup, I would lean tawards something being wrong more then bad luck. What ratio are you using and what kind of fuel? The first seize looks like a cold seize like it didnt get enough oil and you went to town before it was warmedup. Before I saw the picts I was thinking possible air leak but that doesnt look like an air leak to me. What do the rings look like too?

  17. Spark arrestors are nothing more than a thing built to stop hot carbon or metal from being able to fly out of your pipes and catch something on fire. They are normally made of a screen mesh or many screens and some sort of insert. It's all bullshit, just another requirement the tree hugger where able to get the government to buy off on, because those "possible" stray carbon fragment might catch something on fire, while those bottle rockets, fireworks, and 20 foot race fuel induced bonfires are safe.   18. if your trying to get more bottom end then there is no need to talk you out of it, 2in1 is great for more bottom end. I just hope your ready to giveup alot of your topend. Why exactly are you needing more bottom? why not re-gear or go to a differant set of tires?
  19. you can backload them up to around 8k, the regular override is a differant story. For the Duneable they are more forgiving, but if to talk to WRC he will tell you that you dont want to backload over 8k.

  21. if your not doing mostly drag racing go with the CPI's. Rockets would never see any motor I build. Once you start making higher HP your going to need a lockup, once you get that lockup on there you will notice its not the nicest thing to try and shift. A override goes hand and hand with the lockup IMO. You got to be careful backloading them, well I say careful but you can backload up to like 8k so you dont have to be all that careful, just be mindful of it I guess would be a better term to use

  25. at around 150 psi i start mixing.... do a comression test and see what your actually kicking. Dont base your motor off what you have read others compressions be at your elevation. Depending on porting, squish, temp, ect the motor can turn completely differant numbers. dont bother with octane boosters. If you need more octane, do it right and buy a differant fuel.
