  2. your fine to put the grounds on the head. I have one ground running to each of the farthest forward studs and torqued down.
  3. I torque the head, the cylinders, and the case halfs, everything else on the bike is just tightened by feel. On parts that are crucial I lock tight them.
  4. Checkout Olympic Coatings in Escondido. She is right off the 78 near the 15. She did all my shit, frame bars, linkage, spindles, all 4 wheel hubs, both axle hubs, all three brake calipers, and i feel like i am missing somehting for like 300 and change. she blasted, plugged and powdered all of it, thats a silver base and a candy blue coat. http://www.olycoatings.com/
  5. Same cept I did mine 14 18 22, either way it's the same thing
  6. 150-160 I run 50/50 at 170 up I run race gas. I know of guys that run pump out to 170 but IMO I think it's stupid to chance it to save a few bucks
  7. Quality chrome isnt going to be cheap. With chrome you get wat you pay for! Contact Bk_banshee I had him chrome ALOT of shit for me. He did an AWSOME job! He chromes aluminum too.
  8. NEVER buy the first year of any car!!! The first year or two are when the makers are having to sort out any issues with the cars.
  9. HAHAHA Now I was not expecting that!!!! CLASSIC!!!
  10. it's even got the imfamouse blue link ebay chain on there! 24k and he puts a 50 dollar chain on there?
  11. my chariot has two leftover orings for the old style head. if you have only one left over something is wrong
  12. You can clean your harness and frame up and still keep the wires in the back. I cut all the extra crap off my harness and got some liquid tape and sealed the wires off. Then got some 1/4 in flexable wire protector stuff and covered all the wires. Then removed the big ugly light switch and put a CR 250 kill switch and moved my lights to a 2 stage (on high/off) toggle and mounted it under my tank cover. I am an electrical idiot and I figured it out. That means anyone can do it! I wish I was in the states, I could snap a pict. Snop knows his shit when it come to electircal! I hit him up a few times about making sure I got the right switch
  13. If the piston is new and it only leaked on one side I would just replace the one. You might think about replacing the ring on the other that way you are fresh on both sides
  14. GB Racing or RB Racing I can't remeber the name, sells a relocation braket that moves all that shit to between the tank and radiator. I didnt like how it all fit so i got rid of mine. Loco cut the mount off the back and welded it to the frnt of the bike and then had his frame pc'd. try searching cdi relocation and see if anything comes up, this topic has been covered several times
  15. There we go, I thought it was 20. I am assuming you knwo how to adjust it right?
  16. for some reason i want to say 20mm? But dont go changing anythign until someone chims in that knows for sure. For some reason I remember setting PWK's at 18 and stockers at 20 but I could be TOTALLY wrong. It's been a long time that I have adjusted the floats
  17. i wouldnt send a wet dog turd to Vito's, and the same thing with Duncan. You can surely find a shop locally that can do it. or send it to one of the reputable builders on this site.
  18. i voted for the first, i was kind of wondering about the two erratic jumps. Is it accurate or was that due to clutch tranny issues?
  19. it is possible to get any size piston, but if you dont have the money to bore it, you surley dont have the money to have a piston made to you specs. Take the motor to a builder and he can messure the bore in several differant places to see what piston size you need for sure. You dont only want the messurement of the lip of the cylinder
  20. there are older sets of domes that used the two left over orings. They put those in there just incase thats the kind you have so there are no issues.
  21. it still makes it authentic, because those are your words GAYYYYYYYYY
  22. send bk_banshee a pm he used to do used pipes
  23. you need a 66mm bore putting you at .080 over Your tolerances will not be correct for this piston so your going to need to have the jugs machined with them
  24. I think I paid 300 and some change and got two stage candy blue, they taped and blasted all my parts. Did my bars, frame, dog bone, all three brake calipers, all four wheel hubs, both axle hubs, both spindles, and i wan to say a few other parts that i am forgetting.
  25. MJ this is the spacer they are talking about... it's common with afer market shocks that they need shims or spacers that fit in the eyelet of the hiem joint to takeup any slack (side to side) so the shock bolts up snug.
