  1. back in the day when i raced go-karts, my pops got my brother and i sponsered by redline oils, that was the shit! we got cases of 2 stroke and 4 stroke oils almost weekly... all we had to do was put a sticker on our karts or a banner in the pits and we got as much shit as we wanted.. too bad they are fukin big now, its much harder to get a sponsership by them now!
  2. first off if you have any porting on that motor you should look at some bigger carbs... those stocker are choking your motor.... now, when you say at 1/4 it deis... you mean that if your at idle and pin it ? or you can ride around and move up on the throttle and once you get past 1/4 it bogs out? mine was like that when i changed my carbs and it was the flaot heigth.... check your float needle and make sure its seating all the way... that would be my first thing to check...
  3. 6 hd springs is night and day differance from how hard it is to pull your stock spings... i run mine 3 stock 3 hd just to make it a little ezer to pull..im getting a lockup here soon so it wont matter its going to suck to pull either way and i wont slip any so i can runn crappy springs
  4. how was he riding it when it died? was it WOT or just kinda messing around? like said check your spark...if he was on the motor pretty hard make sure the flywheel didnt bump the pickup on your stator or that it didnt simply come lose and move to far away from the flywheel.
  5. sorry bro but havent tryed many builders if thats the case... duncae bike are no where what they used to be! back in the day yea they WERE top notch but thats not the case any more they really dont impress me much... yea the aftermarket parts are great but the duncan mods im not a fan
  6. you can order the FZR1000 fibers for pretty cheap... i want to say they are like 6-8 bucks each... then get stock steels and ruff them a little with some med grit paper drop so hd springs ... i like 3 stocks 3 hd but its up to you... and you should be problems free for quite a while...
  7. ahh see to all you anti glamis guys out there.. this is proff it has nothing to do with glamis being packed with alot of people causing others to get hurt.. these guys are getting life flights out of kp and that place is like a deserted island damn near!
  8. i tried too lookup the dominator but found nothing... if its like the axecalaber its just the axle... you use your stock hubs and nuts...
  9. wow 370 for shearers is a hella good deal!
  10. sounds alot like my problem when i switched carbs... the float height was set wrong and the carbs wasnt getting fuel... might check and see if your carbs are cleaned and the float seats are clean...
  11. check your splines on your axle and hub make sure its not miving... polish had the same problem and that was the cause of it..
  12. jim at passion sells shearers for like 465 shipped...
  13. Link part number 6??? edit damn it didnt save the page one sec ill get the links... go through to banshee then click crankcase cover and item 6
  14. yup they have the worst customer service imaginable! i have those nerfs and they where a bitch to lineup at first.... bolt them to the pegs then bend them a little and then take them back off and mount the bar under the motor mounts and you hould be good.. once you get thwem on and ride it they will flex some and be ok but the first time to mount them was a mother fuker!
  15. my first thought was wow thats gay... but then i gave it a quick thought and id bet that thing can take a beating! its arched like a big rig trailer....
  16. the cool head isnt going to do much to cool your motor after you reach running temps... to get better cooling the big radi would be the way to go but like said you should have no issues with cooling on your stock radi... sorry 2Stroke but id have to disagree with you that a moded banshee has cooling issues... i have alot of mods done to my bike and run a stock radi with a billet impeller and water wetter i havent had one signle problem with the heat... im not sure how hot 40 degrees Celcius is but if its not over 110 F then you got some issues...
  17. like red said we have answered this like 6 times for you... no they are a waste unless your running bigger carbs and need to clear the clutch arm...
  18. i have not seen any duncan bike that impressed me much.... all those mods sound great minus the duncan mods...i am biased but they just never really got my attention by any means...
  19. i have both ... i swear by the dyna... but like wesw said run your plate at 0 ... dajo runs his plate advanced and his dyna and loves it but hes cranken out alot more hp too...
  20. this would work too... but if they dont line up then its kinda hard to do... but if they do then your golden
  21. well you obviously dont ride in glamis in the summer? about 115-120 yea id say it gets hot... also who said they havent tried it? this post has came up several times, the tape method has worked for a few ppl but most of the time it comes loose... i dont see how a mild adhesive hold anything from spinning? clean your threads and use loctite and get it over with
  22. hey dave i think broke was being sarcastic? he was coming across more of a smart ass then a seriouse question becasue the stock parts
  23. you havent riden a cub have you? they are anything but trail friendly... the power band hit very violently ... and the bottom end is horrable... it can be ridin on the trails , but its the ideal motor by any means,no bottom end to pull with and not enough open straights to stay on the pipe very lo0ng
  24. you should not need a oversized radi to cool your bike... a billet impeller and distilled water/redline water wetter,or engine ice and you should be plenty cool...spend your money else where.... if your having cooling issues you got problems elsewhere astockradi will cool fine...
  25. imnot 100% on the RZ cause iv never worked with one but the port timings on the cubs are set for drag... they have a light switch powerband its on or off there is no middle ground...
