Every year my parents have what they call a life is good party on their 160 acres of land they live on. Anyways there is usually alot of older folks that know my grand parents and the family toward the start of the day. All my family and friends bring their Quads to rip around on the tons of trails all over the land. I had just widened my shee out and got the new shocks on, making the front end a bit lower than it was. In the middle of one of the fields is a rock that just sticks out the ground a bit. Having cleared it a hundred times before i rode over it about 3/4 throttle. This time my a-arm caught the rock and over the bars i went with the machine right behind me, but luckily it didnt land on me. Knocked the wind out of me and banged up my ribbs pretty bad. Once i made it back to the party i swear every person over 60 had a big jug of vikoden on them and were handing me a hand full. So the moral of the story is if your going to crash do it when old people are around cuase chances are they have some good meds on them After a few gallons of beer and a half a dozen pills i could have had both legs broke and wouldnt of known the difference. :woot:

Personally i like seeing the 250s being made. That way in 3 or 4 years there will be some used ones around when my son outgrows a 90cc.

I dont know i think i would rather pay 20$ than take the chance of wreaking an engine. Then what did you really save :shrug:

Man i would love to take a trip down there and ride with some of you other MI guys on here, but i would hate to drive that far and not be able to get in. I have trinitys with spark arresters and a raptor with a rossie pipe thats louder than the shee. It really sucks that their that strict. Is there a bunch of houses and stuff around there that thier that worried about noise?

Great find for 300$. My buddy recently found a quadzilla for 300, stripped it painted frame and sunk maybe700 into it. The original owner was over to his house and offered him 2800 cash on the spot. Good luck and welcome.

As you said a budget quad, id buy a 660 raptor if i were you. They were the number one selling sport quad for like three to four years in a row before all the 450s came out, so there is a shit load of them out there. If you look you can find a fairly new one with a pipe, maybe some cams ect. pretty hoped up ones for around 3000 to 3500. I have both a banshee and a raptor 660. I regret sinking all the money i did into the raptor with all the new 4 strokes that are coming out (some of them supposeably all you need is a pipe and controller to get over 50 horse). Banshees there is no end to the possibilities and two stroke power is just down right addicting.

I red someware that they would have to sink billions of dollars into the fourstrokes to get them to burn as clean as the e-tech does. Any ways im willing to bet that once the seven year patent is up you can almost garantee the other manufactors are going to follow suit. As far a boat motors go the e-tech is blowing everthing else out of the water. If or how long before we see the technology in stuff like dirt bikes or quads ? Well we can only dream. :shrug:

MY old lady is cool about it. She always tells me i can do what ever the hell i want to the banshee, as long as i detune and narrow up the 660 for her. Hell she even said if i make the raptor hers i can buy something new. Maybe ill have a new 700 rap in the back porch for fathers day.

I wasnt making fun of his accent by any means or think hes ignorant. Ive worked all over the mid west from MI,WI,IA,MN,IL,IN. Right now im in north west iowa and they talk like the farmers from southern WI, but if you get toward davenport IA they talk like their from the south. Shit i moved up by the upper pennisula of MI, you should here them talk around here. Alot of YAs and alreadys. Im by no means a public speaker but you would think a guy like him would get used to it. Im sure hes a strait up nice guy (witch is sometimes rare with fame) So i also sorry.

If i had to dicsribe my shee, id say the hottest bitch ive ever rode....

Im thinking of buying a diesel next time and definatly going chip it ect, ect. Would be neat to see some different things that have been done.
