stockers can be taken out to 30's but the stockers are a poor design... id rather spend the oney and get a better design that improves flow and throttle respone and get some pwk's... like Da said got with 30-34 any bigger your too big i also have 34 mm PJs for sale but lethaface would be your best bet.. your not getting mine for near that price.. mine are brand new and have the bowl welded to clear clutch arm...

if water is getting into your tranny, that seal is the only way...well take that back... the metal part where your water goes through the cover can leak down if its not tight but i havent seen that happen before. id say try another seal... make sure the seal is flush to the cover.. my first one stuck out a very small amount so i ripped it out and got a new one... use some assembly grease before you pout it in and put a socket on seal and tap it down in there... its a pain in the ass to do casue its a really tight fit! but it will go all the way down flush. if not oyou will leak by.

i dont think that all nessissary , the clymers says it s simple none polarity circut, i think you can put a normal 2 stage switch to simply break the circut stopping the lights...

yea i hear you brad... i had no intentions on getting one becasue the where stupid expensive. but i had an extra 65 inch tv that was sitting in my house doing nothing but losing value so i might as well trade it for something thats i either use or has a good market value and is ezer to get rid of

i didnt even think about him having a stock staor i assumed he had a 200watt -
i went to pep boys , kragens, and a few race shops, the push bottons they got are freakin huge.. and the rest of their shit looks like the NOS swicthes in fast and furious. im just going for on and off... i got the trail techs and they dont have high and low beams so im just wanting to move the switch off my bars to clean them up some edit: i didnt think about it but my buddy just said try radio shack... i dont kno if they would have ones with rubber to prtect them or not but i guess if not i can get one for this weekend and th en worry about finding a permanant one later on

ok i guess the way i typed sounded to make secnce in my haed but not on paper... im saying that 16% is a gain from the size of the carb not the amount of fuel its pulling... just cause you go bigger on the carb doesnt mean your going to pull anymore fuel... your motor can only pull its maximum capability... whether it be 26mm or 28mm...just like the water hose analogy some one put about this topic several motnths ago...

i clipped all my extra wires and plugs off my harness and cleaned up my bars by removing the stock light switch and kill switch... the only toggle switches i have been able to find at parts stores here are either freakin huge or are open to elements... im trying to find a basic 2 stage toggle on and off thats got some sort of protecter from dirt and water... and something thats not huge casuei want to mount it unnder my tank on the frame... any one used anything similar or know where i can find one by this weekend?

i just relized i put the bell in my last post... i ment to put the motor side of the carbs what ever its called..

i hope you didnt trash your old seal... if you did you can use a socket but the new seal is a mother fuker to get to seat all the way... get some assembly grease and lube her up before sliding it in...

banshees are notroiouse for not having bottom end... so they advance it to get that bottom end back they are lacking...

NEVER! lol keep this thread alive!!!!

thats a 16% increase in the diamiter of the bell... you got to think of how much vacume is pulling the fuel through the jets.. also with a bigger carb your going to lean the main more then likely on the same smaller motor to not richen it up some .... the amount of fuel is very minimal from the 2 sizes... one thing that will diffenatly help going to the pwk style is throttle response. but if you go too big(which this case it isnt) you kill the bottom end bedaue your dumping the crap out of fuel..

i fukin love mine! i wish i had the time to play it! i got mine in high school... i saved my ass off to buy that thing! i was a total woods and senario guy until i got that marker... that thing totally made me appreciate speedball! no one could ever understand why my marker didnt break the allstar seemless paint when it first came out... we had guys with angles , autocockers, bob longs, intims, you name it they where all ripping paint so they had to go to diablo and other fuki crayz expensive pait but my custom bolt was sooooo fukin soft on paint! i could shoot any paint in it that i threw at it and had no breaks... its a smmmoooooth shooting gun... i love the ballance of it i like my guns a little heavy on the back so when you shoulder it , it dosent dip foward... i got that hole oh hes a rich kid attitude from the guys i played with for the longest time until i started picking off there rear standups and their runners .... took me some time to addapt to speedball but once i got it i was unstopable....

going from stockers to 28mm is only a 2mm differance... i dont see how it could have ran worse? only thing i can think of is your jetting was off... the differance in the amount if fuel from 26 to 28 is very small im assumming your running stock bore and stroke right?

i never said it mean its over heating but by me not having my bottle on losing the coolant (which mine dosent do) would in your theroy casue the bike to not circulate the coolant prufieantly and casue cooling issues.. but being that the overflow has never pulled any of mine into the radiator, gave me no reason to keep it... with my overflow off my bike has yet to lose fliud from the heat expanding it... ever time i ride the level is at the same spot when its cool... rite under the cap where i left it... there was a thread not long ago about this same topic and yes we all agreed that the bottle was indeed desinged to be a recirc but the fact that in about 98% of the cases it dosnet work , where it be a flaw or wat ever the reason ... the thing is NOT needed to properly cool your motor... like i said if the small amount that your bike puts in there if yours actually does is so insugnificant, that is your worried bout cooling issues you need to look at your motor or somwthing else casue thats not casuing your bike to run hot by any means btw i dont know what prufieantly was posed to be so once i saw it i left it in there

FRONT RIM, ULTIMATE CONVENTIONAL OR QUAD-ROK?
Bansh-eman replied to DMAN94's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
who did you sell your cpi's too? or did you have t-5's? -
well i removed mine becasue it dosent do anything but hold coolant that spills out if i over heat but i have had no problems with it over heating... also i dont want those little dinkly rubber lines melting to my brand new pipes... so i ditched mine and ran the hose down the frame... if my bike over heats so commonly that i need to be worrid about may 4-6oz of coolant to keep my bike from breaking down i have much larger issues to worry about then the coolant bottle being gone...
