i would stop turning it over and at the very minumim open the clutch cover and look in there to see if its your kick starter getting jammed... but 99% positive your going ot have to split the cases because you said it died all of the sunnden right?

when you kill the ignition and the motor stays running that normally indicates a hot spot. carbon builds on your pistons and can get red hot causing the fuel to burn early or without a spark at all... in most cases it wont stay running though it will just diesel a few times and then die. are you sure your electrical is hooked up right?

your a fool MJ, do you have any clue how big Virgina Tech is? the school has over 25,000 students. over 100 buildings on 2600 acers and an AIR PORT? what school has its own air port ? to surround the school would take several hunder swat team officers which im pretty sure they didnt have... not to mention surrounding the school doesnt do anything... you have to go in the building and find them... we are talking about 100 plus buildings... that takes time... they didnt know who the shooter was what he looked like or where he was at... so they had 25000 suspects

no its not needed... it there isncase your motor build pressure on thats side it can release it... should be able to plug it...

only thing i see wrong is its infornt of your radiator.. your more prone to rocks hitting it... but my main concern is that your blocking where the majority of air comes under your plasics to your radiator..

its pretty much centain your going to have t adjust your clutch... your old cable was stretched... so you will have to take off the clutch covre and adjust it from there...

i rode at about the same altitude you are at... when i had stock carbs i ran 320's and i had my air box on without a lid... your going to probly need around that maybe 1 or 2 bigger.
