like dave said, with a cheetah get ready to spend alot more on clutch tranny suspension new tires swinger carbs head reeds pipes a cub your going to save some buy being able to run alot of your stock parts but your still going to need tranny clutch suspension swinger tires carbs...the list goes on and on... its not somehting you can buy a say 1500 dollar stroker kit like alba trys to sell and eb done with it... you need alot more to actually ride all that power...

man its crayz to think that there is that much involved in screws and bolts.. seems alot ezer to make standards and be done with it.... but im sure as always there was a reason behind it...

i dont think this is the issue from the way i understand it... i could be wrong but from the way i understand him its the plastic being pourus and the gas/oil from inside the tank that causes the viynl to not stick... but like i said i could be wrong.

im thining about going back to a stock tank and cover... but we will see...

from the way mike is talking its not an issue of bubbles its an issue with not sticking...

humm ... from the sounds of it once you fill the tank back up the gas/oil will seep right back into the pores and cause it to peel again....

im not sure what he uses.. it talking to majic mike to get them wrapped... either way im talking to a few backup guys for custom painting to see if they have done or know if it can be done with paint and not peel... id like to do a full wrap so it all looks the same but if worst comes to worst i guess ill split the two up...

i cant see the picts on this computer... but did you replace it? if so did you put it in backwards? once i get home i can look at the post again on a computer i can see picts on and maybe help u out

if your bike has been sitting you need to clean your carbs... pull them off and remove the lets and give it a goooood cleaning.. my first thought was your jetting is wrong but if your jets are dirty and clogged this could be the result

i as well had a very good experiance with them... our last trip i didnt secure my toggle switch and it fell down and got ripped off my bike... i didnt notice it until a few weeks alter when taking my bike apart... i got ahold of a guy there and he sent me a new one no questions asked... had it in like 3 days also... VERY pleased with the customer service!

yea i was going to wrap it but it will not stick... so i was going to go with plan b and paint the tank to match the plastics... but before i shell out the money to paint it i want to see if it will stay on there...

maybe laying down a coat of fusion would help it hold? idk

i want to say i have read some where that the turine core bolt up to stockers but i cant say for sure im have never done it my self... maybe someone else that has tried it will chime in...

a cool head isnt eally going to make your bike run cooler... your going to get the same operating temps with a coolhead as a stocker... you might see a very slight change bu nothing that is going to solve your heat issue... have you changed out your impeller for a billet one? also are you running anti freeze? if you are drain it out and flush your system with distilled water... NOT tap water distilled... then get you some redline water weter and mix it with distilled water or some engine ice and run that... although a coolhead isnt going to solve your problem they are very nice to have have so id still look at getting one...

well my problem is im going with a custom job... i dont want to fork over the bills and the shit peel off... how long has your lasted for?

ok guys most of you know i am rebuilding my bike right now and im going to do the vynol wrap... the issue is i have been informed that the wrap will not hold to the tank becasue of the poorouse nature of the plastic and the gas/oil making them peel. has anyone had their tank apinted on and had good results? not the tank cover but an actuall plastic tank... i got a 4 gallon IMS that im looking at painting... want to know how long it has be holding up for and if there was anything special that had to be done for it to hold to the tank...

umm this might sound dumb... but have you checked your spark? not only does it souund like a you have a compression issue but my first indicator was when you said you worked on the wires and now it doesnt run?

you got a lawn mower? get to work BOY! lol ok but for real that a very ez way to make money... mow yards after school and on weekends... if you really want to get it backup to ride youll do what ever it takes!
