anyone know of a place to get a ok setup for beginners rock climbing gear? buddy has a place that sells harness shoes atc carabeaner and chalk bag for 109 bucks... sound like that about as cheap as your going to get without getting absolute pos gear

they probly wont straightn it... they will replace it and send your to g-force.. they will try to salvage it or just use the metal to melt down and make a new one. seems they would have more reliability issues trying to striaghten it out... i know with frame they have a jig that they strap it to and use a sort of electrical shock and "zap" your frame back. we had to do it a few times when racing go karts and we got into wrecks. not sure if this is something they woud do or not... but heating it and trying to get it within tolerances would cost them more time and money then just replacing it.

his first post im not for sure but i want to say curve 3 advances your timing at its max like 15-20 degrees... then backs off .. you might be able to findit on thier site... for sure you need to bump up that octane...

have you bought the cubs yet? if not id go off your stock jugs... with everything you said... you got a drag bike. your not going to have an bottom end ... and your powerband is going to be a light switch... either on or off no between. your stock jugs with a nice port job can still rip your arms off.. you dont need cubs to get that kind of power.. basicaly cubs where made for guys that want to resleeve their motors to big bore and drop a drag port on them the cost was so high alot of people wanted a differant option... so the cub was made and it already comes big bore and comes with drag porting( needs a little cleanup porting)

you need to take off the swing arm and replace it with one of theses

its all persoal preferance. id go with the cub.. out of the box they produce more power then trex, but trex are by no means trash... they just need mroe work to get the same number out of them... the cubs come out of the box with drag port timing...so the only thing you can do is open them up a little more there is no duneable options or anything less then drag... think of porting in stages...from 1-10 1 meaning that the ports are smaller and more restrictive... stock 1 play port 2 woods3 mx3 dune 4 agressive dune 5 dune drag 6 drag 7 full drag 8 make sence? when i say more restrictive im talking in drag terms... a mx port is setup to have more bottom and mid where drag cuts your bottom out completly and focuses on the hard hitting top...

a cub comes already bigger then a dune port... if your looking for dune porting you got the wrong motor... a cub was designed for drag racing... the 72 your talking about is a supercub. its a 472 assuming its a 4mil crank but i think they are 7 and 10s

most of those mods arnt going to add much hp. 45-50 max... your power will really come out once you get it ported... and then those pipe will make a big differance with porting. rightnow the pipes arnt being used to thier full potental. keep in mind if you go all out on your motor your still not going to have a fast bike becasue your not going to keep the power to the ground... you can have the biggest baddest motor around.. if your suspension isnt setup for it your going to spin the tires...

non duables are what drag racers run... they dont need to down shift. they launch and go thorugh the gears... get to the end of the track and kill it and put it in nuetral.. a dunable over ride you can use the clutch like normal or you can shift full throttle without using the clutch... up or down either way your safe.

cubs love timing and compression. id go +7 and some 18 domes...

i would put my works shocks upto a set of elkas any day ... and at half the price they are the way to go for sure!

ok so im looking for a cheap bike to ride to work so i dont have to spend 100 bucks to fillup my truck anymore. i found a 1992 FZR 1000 for 1500 bucks. are these good bikes? i mean reliable i dont care how fast, thats not what im goig for. i actually would rather have a cruser type but for 1500 bucks sounds like a good price. what do these run for in your area?

i might have mine for sale soon... how fast u needing it?
