  1. so trying to pin point the reason that this happend is probly the gas i was running in it was to low of octane or there was some kind of air leak some were?
  2. was running 92 octane no race gas- with the oil mix... so i get from this that 2 in to 1 are not safe?
  3. im thinking of going back to duel carb now should i put stock ones back on or upgrade?
  4. Yeah i can bring it to were I am... What exactly should i be looking for inside the motor and after i take off the head since i am still fairly new to this machine
  5. Im in Seattle washington. And any reccomendations as to witch Top end kit i should buy if i have to when I check it out this weekend.
  6. I was dragging my brothers car one day. And after we got done dragging we were riding back to my house when all the sudden I had a huge backfire the quad died. At first I thought I flooded the spark plugs because I had a freind "Who never rides" playing around on it. So I go to change the spark plugs and the left side is perfect little brown not dry a little wet the way I like it a little safer so im told. The right side spark plugg is missing the head of the spark plug and tehre is what appears to be little metal shavings around the spark plug. I then put 2 new spark plugs in the shee and it starts up The left side is normal the right side kicks on and kicks off sounds like it wants to go but back fires alot so i shut it off because I did not want to cause further damage to my ATV. It has not been ridden to much since ive done all my upgrading but I am confused as to why it would do this with very little ride time on it should I have been running a Higher Quaily of gas? I used Prem. Gas mix with the oil 92 octain but was told maybe I should use race gas instead to help with compression. But when i did a compression check with a freind before I even ripped on her about a month earlyer the compression was fine. Upgrades I have done to bike. 19-Domes Cool head 4mm Stroker Dynotech Ignition Extended swing arm. New tough chain. Carbon Fiber Reeds. 2 into 1 Carb system CPI Inframe Drag pipes. lockout Clutch-- I Know its not really needed yet with upgrades but i got a good deal so why not. 100 bucks I have yet to pull the cool head off to look in side to cylinder to see if it did blow because I live about 2 hours from were my ATV is stored and if im going to buy parts to fix it i would rather get them here at a local store. I did all the installlation of the parts my self. I was told if i dont know anything about 2 strokes to not touch them so i took it apon my self to get to know my Shee inside and out. IM not the brightest when it comes to working with them but i can slowy find my way around. Soultion if it is blown so im told is to Get it Bored out and all that good stuff and order a new TOP END KIT for it. So questions to you guys. YOu think i blew it or is that head of spark plug some were in my cylinder? What TOp end kit should i buy for it if i have to? I have about 300 bucks to spend. Should i be running higher octane in her? ALSO CRANK IS WELLDED thanks for future helpfull replys.
  7. i wasnt exspecting to beat him just wondering how close it would be lol. I plan on getting a nice port job done after memorial day weekend. then during winter get a 421 my self lol thanks for the info guys. ill be buying a new set of dust goggles.
  8. I got a buddy of mine who has a 421 Cub kit in his shee my mods are what are in my signiture what are the odds of us being a good race or is he gonna totaly blow me away. He has everything i have but the carbs and i run 19 domes he runs 22 domes. should i even bother or will it be not a total knock out

  11. Hey guys its me again im trying to get my shee as fast as she can go before I go to the dunes for memorial day. Ive done some upgrading since my last post and will post the new things i have on it now. What im looking from you guys is what i can do next with the 400 I have left to spend. TAKE NOTE I PLAN ON SWINGARM AND NEW SUSPENSION AFTER THIS LAST 400 Bucks! lol. 2 into 1 Carb System K&N -- NO Airbox 19CC Cool Head Domes. Ran on Race Gas 4mm Stroker Kit. "I know go big or go home but i dont wanna go to big i like trail riding" V3 Reeds Dyno FS Ignition Skat Trak Extreme 8 Paddle Sand tires. CPI Drag Pipes Lockout System -----Port Polish coming soon----- Other then that what other bolt on can i get to help toast some 4 strokes when im in the dunes. Btw thanks again to this community ive tried doing what you told me to in the last post so that why i came back to you guys again. Watch out winchester bay
  12. Thanks for the replys guys Ive since this post boughta full KN system the lockout clutch was more for looks i just had to have it.. lol But i bought the KN lid and cone. But now on to the porting subject I know a guy that will do carbs and cylinders whos very skilled at what he does for around 300 bucks . My goal is to eventuly make this into a drag / have fun bike i wanna beat the pants off most bikes but not b e limited to just draggin. THis porting thing i take it will be the next thing i do. Anyone live in washington that could suggesta good place t o get it done?
  13. I just got my Shee over a month ago my cousin showed me this site and it encourged me to mod the shit out of my quad with what money i had. I got 06 Shee CPI Drag Pipes V3 Reeds Cool head 21 Domes Dyno FS Ignition KN Intake Lockout See threw clutch its perty So my question is how much HP do i have in what little mods i have done so far and when i go to the Dunes in may should any of the 4 strokes be a problem for me to beat? I will be adding pics of my quad soon But yoru community looks great its to bad you guys just got a new member who cant spell.
