  4. Do a search, Plug both exh ports & both intakes , with a filler in 1 of the plugs & a gauge in another, pump up to 7psi to check for leaks Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  5. Shouldn't, Slides in correctly, choke tube on, filters not over oiled & i'd do a leak down. why were you working on it to begin with? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  6. Clean pilots & do a leak down test Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

  9. Did the 96 have a parking brake, are there wires on the clutch/p.brake lever. That's where the switch is When the TORS short out, it kills all Ignition so it would not run for 5-20 seconds
  10. Same thing
  11. You from Oregon too?
  12. Oh, on the borrowed cover...gotcha
  13. [emoji106] Again, how do you know it was that (rear) vent? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  14. They were worth more,10 years ago doe
  15. Yes by doing that there's no venting going on and oils going to go out any leak. if your doing it with it off, that area must have trapped oil, from before. I wouldnt think there would be oil there unless slung up there while running, by getting by gouge. With That being Said, make sure you clean that cavity between the tube and cases so when ur done there's no Residual and you think it's not fixed Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  16. Or used, There's a lot on bhq swap shop Facebook or redo banshee's is a site Sponsor Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  17. Yes, sorry about the confusion, i thought the tube issue you were having was coolant @ 1st Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, its mainly running issues & melting light wires iirc, but other than running issues , the other could be operator error Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  19. Depends but that would be mostly due to o-ring drag ( or lack of) , which would be coolant leak. A lot of people think oil and/or coolant is leaking and it's actually your carb. dripping & running through that drain hole you referred to earlier. But looking @ that gouge again thats your problem& possibly a venting issue. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  20. Oh, If it's leaking oil out of the transfer tube, your gaskets not sealed their. Iirc the gasket goes around the tube to seal oil splash. I thought you had a coolant and oil leak , the o-ring is for coolant only. If your rear vent is clogged & you plug the cover vent it will build pressure & leak @ any weak spot. which that gouge on the outboard side of the o-ring would cause oil to leak out. You can try & epoxy it back into shape, silicone it ( let dry before trying it), silicone the tube to the case so the oil that gets between case & tube cant come out, or get a new cover Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  21. Thats routed correct . It's leaking up there? If so, how do you know which vent is leaking?. Cover is a separate issue unless its over filling gearbox with coolant. Looking at the picture, I would just smooth out the sharp edges & maybe put a little bit of silicone on the o-ring ( to lube it & seal it if it does get messed up) and that should be OK Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, if the other one is plugged or if the hose isn't routed high enough. are they T'd together, how do you know its that one that's leaking? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  23. There's another vent @ the rear motor mount, make sure it or it's hose is not plugged Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  24. The o-ring doesnt seal on the end, just clean it up so when you put it on it doesnt cut it ... is the oil vent leaking there, or out of the hose. is your rear vent free& clear Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
