Sounds like pilot circuit Dennis has a bunch of pictures on here but none of the pictures are good anymore. I'm sure he'll Chime and soon with pic's Iirc only the left carb has the jet. But that just usually makes it hard to start, and I guess it couldn't idle well , cause it's Not rich enough ,When cold Does Screwing In your air mixture in and/or out change anything. Search "will not cold start" theres a few bowl pic's in there

I'd think it'd be worse in a rd than a quad, running bowls dry ! i'd be careful, and / or some were drilling out inlet ( dont think that could be more restrictive than @ needle) but...

I've just heard jetting is all over the board and they run the bowls dry quickly. Just off the top of my head. Some people have investigated it & modified them to work, but most shy away from them...fyi

^ ^ ...also DONOT buy the $150 Chinese top end ( now or in the future) they are junk. Buy used oem, cpi or driveline. Price is usually the dead give away as some don't tell you they are Chinese knock offs ! !

Fuel ,air & spark gotta figure out what's missing. Unless it's outa time & go from there. You thought it was flooded but did you try squirting fuel to it, that'll eliminate no fuel. was there fuel in pipes when pulled?

Exhaust plugged (rats nest) Cross over tube back on Slides in correct carb?

Acting up while turning could be a short, Check your harness for bare spots and t. Cable for binding. Did you try swapping carbs

Usually price , but ray will charge you close to full price & say they are real so... I've heard no serial numbers on flat spot above bowls and vent hoses that come with them, are more clear than dark pink, like genuine Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

Just saw you said tors deleted carbs from vitos ...meaning bought kit & did delete or bought his carbs? If carbs, make sure they are not knock off's. if so you'll probably never get them right!

^^ could be multiple problems, start with one. Can you keep it running above can idol... after it starts? There is no set idol turns and some carbs need the boss( the one you tapped) filed down, to let the screw go in deeper in order to get it to idol high enough. If you can keep it running by throttle id screw idol all the way in & try that 1st, if not: do a search, to make sure your slides and bowls are in/on correct carb. And make sure you put choke tube back in. Also make sure exhaust isn't clogged ...with a rat... nest Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
