  1. Good, then what ever is stuck, should still be stuck...to check

  3. Prob. Cable or slides. How are u killing it? Once it's shut off look at slides. If stuck, see if its cable causing it, if not, its the slides/bore.
  4. Sounds like it solved it's self? Have to wait till it does it again, and see what it is.

  6. Didn't read the whole 13-year-old post but... no, no Silencers, will not cause that. usually it's an air leak or sticking carburetor slide. I'd verify slides are returning to idle and if so, do a leak down test.
  7. Status dates...rat proof

  8. If you're building compression, you're sucking in air. If none of the above, you sure you're jets are correct, Float hight correct, floats dropping, filters not over oiled
  9. Dont remember doing that b4 but... mark where the chain rides ( to make sure when rollers in place it'll be inline). & install it till it lines up. I'd think it'd bottom out? Is there an inner lip that'll stop it from going on to far ( and or can it even go on to far b4 hitting arm?) If you dont have a seal installer, use a large socket or see how tight it is, might be able to use roller, as an install tool...or a flat drift??
  10. Put a meter on plug, do you still have og lights? Did it work before? Led' are hit & miss running them on ac. & are polarity sensitive
  11. Timing plate is separate part I'd start with 110 Oe used, is usually ok, do you need to do it now...no just suspect stator if you have issues, some dont have problems, some dont last long...time will tell
  12. Bore has nothing to do with stroke, pt #'s would tell you stroke too. As i stated before youll have to measure stroke now. And porting info would be more useful than stroke. Fyi
  13. Should have written piston #'s down... you'll have to measure stroke now
  14. Dont think the older ones had rivited warnings Post pic's using tapatalk
  15. And stay away from vitos too In future always buy oe electronics ( used if vetted is ok) ricky will be ok ...till it isnt. What did / do you have for carbs before? What kind of riding? 19 domes ! What fuel you plan on running!!
  16. Put it in a bench vice, with a full fuel line ( might need it siphoning down from a can, to put more psi on it) & hold the float up & look to see where the fuel's leaking by, at Your cap is venting good? Cant remember if floats are the same, but swap & see if problem follows. Put fuel in your bowl too & let it sit, o f tube might be cracked down low. Bowls are different you can swap them to leak test but not run on.
  17. Shhh dat wuzuh....secret

  18. Tru...but they dont, put it to good use ie inferior metals. But there is a BIG market for it.
