  1. I just realized I didn't change the carbs just checked for fuel. It did seem that there was more fuel in the right carb. If it gets too much fuel would it not allow it to run on that cylinder.
  2. i have a problem and need some help. My banshee will not run on the right cylinder. I checked and it gets spark on both sides and if I switch plug wires nothing changes. I also switched the fuel lines making the left carb running the right cylinder and it did not make a difference. Any ideas what to check. I just got it back together from doing a new top end new reeds and a cool head. Thanks in advance.
  3. Is the factory service manual or the clymer manual better.
  4. I started messing with the top end to see what the pistons and cylinders looked like. I made a mistake and forgot to drain the coolant before I lifted the head so when I cracked the head off it leaked coolant out and into my cylinders. Should I do anything to it or will it not really hurt anything.
  5. Im looking for the complete air box with lid and duct
  6. Is there a place that has a step by step process of rebuilding the top end
  7. I haven't checked the carbs sync yet. I think I found the reason though the clamp on left side pipe to silencer is shot and I losing pressure out through it and I think thats the difference out of the back. However it is a stock banshee and the compression showed a reading of 115. How bad is this and what is involved in fixing it.
  8. It's both there less smoke and pressure on the left side. I just got it yesterday.
  9. I just got an 06 banshee. I cleaned the air filter and put new plugs in it. I got it to fire up and run but it seems that the the left side pipe doesn't blow out the smoke as hard as the right side. Also when I rode it it would bog down a little and then come to life. I contributed that to be cold but not sure. When I pulled the plugs they both looked the same. Any ideas on what to check I am going to do a compression and a leak down test first.
  10. Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and did it and just got home with my new to me 06 banshee. I think I'm addicted already.
  11. I have a chance to join the ranks of a banshee owner. I have a 03 raptor w the basic protection pipe jet kit filter etc. I found a guy that want to trade me his 06 banshee with exhaust and jet kit. He was asking for 2400 for the quad. How does this sound to you guys.
  12. whats the least your looking to get out of it.
