  1. I'm looking at the Maier race fronts and rears. Can get both for about $200 from RMATV. Anyone know of a cheaper place?
  2. I have front and rear. They don't have any stress marks or cracks but are faded. I dunno if that can be buffed or what. I've had people tell me they can make them look new but I dunno how. Anyway, I want to replace them with another color. Maybe a swap or something?
  3. RMATV is a little cheaper.
  4. A cheap fix would be to go to an automotive store and get 1" heater hose.
  5. Do a search on this site for "yfz450 shocks" and you should find all the info you need. I've been researching it lately and will probably snag a set as soon as I get the extra $. You have to grind a little off your frame where the shocks mount and also some on the a-arms. I think you might have to take a little off the bottom of the shocks as well. I'm not sure, but I think it will sit up 1" higher than stock.
  6. What about the G-Force? It's only $200 from RMATV.
  7. I'm running the 35 with no motor work so I could really use a smaller carb, but it runs great! It's WAY easier to tune and the bike is a lot more controllable. I would suggest the single over dual in anything except drag racing.
  8. Any idea when it'll come out on PC?
  9. http://www.redcreekoffroad.com/ None of us (our riding group) have ever been there but since it's only 3 hours away we're going to give it a shot.
  10. Do you still have a crossover on those intake boots? Maybe it got knocked loose. I'm thinking it's something with your intake. You could try swapping carbs and see if the problem follows the carb. If not, then maybe check those reeds. You could also try swapping them.
  11. Probably needed time to think about it. He was probably in a very freaked out state of mind after what he did. I feel it's more of the kid's fault for messing with the track. I'm sure the racer was probably just trying to scare him and figured the kid would get out of the way.
  12. My brother has some ATV game on the Xbox I like. I don't remember the name but it's a 2. It has a Banshee in it named the Dimension. It's the best ATV game I've played. I got 2.2million on the 5 minute freestyle.
  13. Thanks for those uplifting comments. Ever heard the expression if you don't have anything nice to say...?
  14. My father-in-law has a Suzuki Samurai he likes taking in the mud and cruising around the dirt roads on. I think he's got it lifted and has wheel spacers on it. I haven't seen it in a while and I've never took it in the mud but I know he likes it.

  16. Fatties don't come in a 2-1 do they? You might be confused on some things. I run a single carb and love it. I'd imagine it's a lot better for newbies. If it has a 2 into 1 pipe it should have stronger and more controllable power down low, but it probably won't pull as strong up top.
  17. My Razrs are about 50% tread but they've never really hooked up well in loose stuff. They grip excellent in hard-pack though. I've heard the Ohtsu (sp?) 400ex stock tires are best. That's what all my buddies run. I've never tried them though. I know they get me off the start in EVERY drag race.
  18. I'm looking for some black fenders in good shape. I'd really like the Maier race fronts so I can get the bolt on fenders, but beggers can't be picky.
  19. I haven't actually sat down and watched the whole thing but 5 looks pretty good. I love the Pike's Peak racing. 6 is all freestyle and that gets kinda old after a while.
  20. Mine's been doing the same thing. It only happens every once in a while for no apparent reason, then goes away without doing anything special. I noticed it after going to a 58 pilot. Now I'm down to a 45 and I haven't had the problem. Then again it seemed to always happen after a couple hours of riding and I haven't been doing that much riding lately.
  21. I have to agree. Sounds like you're venting and beating your chest. How did this become a contest of "how fast I can kill you"?
  22. I just slapped those bars on my Shee and am having some problems. The crossbar is freaking wide! There isn't enough room to mount everything. I had to cut my right grip to make room and the brake reservoir is still cocked at a freaky angle. How did you get everything mounted? They do look good though.
  23. My temps get up to about 200 if I putt around in 1st, but if I'm ripping through the trails like my ass is on fire there's no problem. You just have to look at airflow. The faster you go the cooler it runs. If you're going to be riding real slow you may want to look into a larger radiator.
  24. I've never experienced the "water problem" but wouldn't it probably only cause one slide to stick? I'm sure both could stick at the same time but it's unlikely and surely won't happen everytime. If both slides are sticking at the same time it's probably your cable but could also be your throttle housing if you've gotten anything stuck in there. A temporary fix would be to lube your cable, but you might want to replace it. My throttle used to stick sometimes and changing the cable did the trick. If only one slide is sticking it could still be the cable but is more than likely something in that carb. Specifically somewhere with the TORS assembly or slide. If you can't tell whether it's both or one carb clean both carbs real well, then possibly replace cable. I hope I've helped. It's really late and I'm tired.
  25. That's my new life mission statement. Right on. ... too bad we don't have dunes around here.
