  1. Who is he with?
  2. Are you sure the stator didnt come off the plate and cause that? I haven't seen a rs flywheel do that, I have one so does my cousin and 3 other guys I ride with.
  3. My cousin has a patriot 4mill that Dan did, he runs 12 paddle 22x11x8 super lights. Its pretty damn fast.
  4. How much for just the link?
  5. Ok, I dont want people just yelling out who did their port work. I have a Banshee that is built around low-midrange power. It has a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe on it and other stuff too. Who knows of a good mx, or low end motor guy that can port my jugs for my bike? Say maybe a gncc or ex mickey thompson motor builder?
  6. I know this guy, and he developed his engine kits on a dyno. Patriot Racing
  7. I would say that motor in that 450 has to be upwards of high 60's- low 70's hp range.
  8. Sandlake is closer, less dusty, and has better ameneties.
  9. I dont want to be rude, but it sounds like it might be rider. The neighbor has a 2005 yfz450 with cam mod and pipe with jet kit, and a K&N. He pulls dead even with my banshee in a drag race. I only have cool head, 2 into 1 pipe, 2 into 1 intake, and carbon tech reeds. A ported Banshee with pipes ought to hand a 450 his own ass for dinner in a drag race.
  10. Does the bike pull the high gears all the way through?
  11. Well, thats probably something you need to decide for yourself. It ought to pull the lower gears no problem. Usually it will make the gears longer though, and have a hard time pulling 5th and 6th. Honestly, the only people I know that run really tall gearing like that have stroker motors.
  12. If you go up teeth in the front, your acceleration will suffer and your top speed will higher. For better acceleration you go down in the front, or up in the back. Dont go below a 13 in the front though, that will be hard on your chain sliders. 1 tooth in the front is equivelant to 3 teeth in the back.
  13. Your gonna have to let me know what a 20+2 dome is.
  14. Start at about a 185-190 main. DEK Needle in middle position, 50 pilot jet with screw 1-1.5 turns out. Fine tune from there.
  15. I dont know, it should be a little rich, but I dont have stock carbs on my bike.
  16. If your bike is pinging or detonating it will loosen the spark plugs up. What compression and what octane fuel are you running?
  17. K&L Supply has them.
  18. Plastic by far. If the chain comes loose it can potentialy rip that billet one out along with the bolts. The plastic one will have more of a tendency to just break away and not become a piece of shrapnel or a projectile.
  19. Backwards Slides? Is the choke balance tube on? Tors completely unplugged and no wire are touching on it?
  20. You cant powder coat the stock a-arms on a banshee. The oven will melt the nylon bushings in the ball joints.
  21. It wont bolt right up, you need the mounting plate from the older one also. I had a 2005 with a big light. I bought the cascade small light license plate bracket and got a led tail light from the trucker store. Drilled some new holes in the plate and put her on. Not a great picture, but thats it.
  22. I have never had a problem turning with straight paddle tires. Last time I used v paddles was in 1993.
  23. What needle is in it?
  24. I rode mine 2 weekends ago for the first time this season. The midrange came on real hard cause I have a 2 into 1 pipe also. I had advanced the timing 4 degrees also. It was refreshing to be able to relearn the power again.
  25. The honda is way faster than the lt stock. The only nice thing about the suzuki is that they have a cushy seat!
